Despite what is taught in the global pandemonium the reality of dealing with risk is to try as hard as possible to forsee risks and prepare contingency plans to deal with expected risks

If you take the standard risk equation where the probability of a given Risk occurring (range 0-5) multiplied by the Damage that particular Risk will cause (range 0-5) for all expected or likely future risk possiblities you will, create a matrix ranging from 0 to 25. All risks greater than 20…

pay pal really works

I've always been very sceptical about on-line transactions but as a result of the UE mission decided to chance it to buy a cd I really wanted from an on-line site. Simple, painless and very secure I am delighted with the result and will definitely use the system again.

First ever artificial Geyser

On World Water Day we are going to create the world's first artificial Geyser just north of Edinburgh. We will use the four retired Trident Missile Submarine turbines to provide the power (they will then remain buried for ever when we have compelted this work).

Here is the explanation of how we will do it watch?v=X4zA_YPCyHs

Santa Fe Children's Museum

Obviously I wouldn't normally support anything American - we have so many better things in Europe but for once I did find a really lively and interesting project in Santa Fe where school children are working with a Museum environment to find out more about, and do more about, water sustainability world wide http://www.harvesth2o.com/santafekidsmuseum.shtml I think this deserves a wider audience

Fareham Spring 2020

to meet the needs of new energy it was necessary to revert to eighteenth century ways of development in my home town. This map

shows some of the work we have had to undertake in order to revert older buildings which had been converted into houses back into their former, and now new, operational functions

Dateline 22nd April 2020 Ryadh Saudi Arabia

Today the final doc**ent to allow the full emancipation of women in the Kingdom was signed and delivered. From today not only can women over the age of 18 drive cars - even without a male passenger, own property in their own name and wear any clothes allowed by the Koran but more importantly no person in the Kingdom will, in future, be subject to any form of Corporal Punishment. Even smacking in Schools has finally be abolished.

Freedom of speech is to be permitted for…

communication in a crisis

In a real crisis - the sorts of systems which have become 'normal' in the west; TV, Radio, Mobile Phones, the Internet, etc may no longer be available to central authorities. Of all of these, clearly the simplest, and arguable the most effective, is radio, using high power and HF frequencies if possible for long range and VHF for medium range. The idea that digital radio will soon replace standard AM/FM is a real danger to the future use of radio as an effective method of passing crisis…

Food glorious Food

Study of the limitations of the past, especially the study of sieges, offers suggestions for real, nurishing food in areas where famine is a real world problem today.

My first course, arguably my starter therefore, would be three fried locusts. Wherever they appear in the world locusts always imply famine to follow, but deep fried they are a tasty land based alternative to prawns and when they land they can be captured, in sacks, in very large numbers and will feed starving people for… Continue

creativity v expense

"If you have very few resources, you’re forced to be very creative in using and reusing them"

Clearly whether one is in Africa or Europe, over the next decade, resources of all kinds are going to be very scarce and hard to come by. As a result we have all to try and become much more creative about what we can actually use, how little we can use to achieve major impact and how much we can manage with very little or even nothing at…

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
