A Glimpse

It is the year 2020, the women i have helped now are teachers in their communities. Here's a glimpse:

Walking down the path from her new home the trees are in full blossom. The well is full and no one is hungry anymore. The community came together and changed their situation for the better. Thanks to the Evoke network and the people who donated money to help me attend school. I am now a teacher, and i teach other generations how to help the planet and to read and write. The community… Continue

Floods Came Rolling In:

My town is at serious risk for flooding. In 2008 about a quarter of the city was flooded. New crews were everywhere before the waters came too close. The levies burst at midnight, no one knew what had happened. The city said nothing, but we knew by the loud noise that woke most. The emergency shelters wouldn't accept pets, almost everyone in the area owned at least one. Some tied their pets up and left them others gave them to family to take care of. There wasn't any news, all the news that was… Continue

Groasis Waterboxx Saving The Planet One box At A Time:

The Waterboxx collects condensation and slowly waters trees and other plants. Eventually the root system of the plant will grow enough to find it's own water and then all you do is remove the box. So that you can grow a forest in the middle of the Sahara or anywhere

for that matter.

These boxes can be used to slow and even stop and prevent desertification from happening around the globe. While providing food and resources for the surrounding populations.

Empowering Women

So far my only effort to help women rights was a minor facebook posting and becoming a fan of some rights groups. This isn't enough action on the matter, but it is all i can do at the moment. As soon as i can get a job, it might be a few more months. I will donate then, but as for now i cannot as i'm currently broke. But i will still raise awareness of the issue until that time and hopefully for a long time to come. I promise that i'll keep donating to causes and especially this one. There are… Continue

Alternative Currencies

I signed up for Twitpay, i want to use it as soon as i can but at the moment i cannot for lack of money. Being on a student's budget makes innovation really important in my life. I try to do as much as possible online for free. Such as monitoring my bank accounts, paying bills, ordering items and saving on shipping etc.

There are no skills banks, no alternative currencies, micro-loans or bartering systems in my town. It's run on the basis of oil, everything from electricity to the… Continue

Future of Money

The biggest change that is going to happen to the way we use our money in the future is fluidity. We will be able to access out money through several different ways. Through currency exchanges of virtual currencies. I think in the future all money may indeed be virutal. Where paying your bills is as simple as sending a tweet and monitoring your funds is simple. Each city and town may also have their own currency which is connected to a virtual exchange with other communities and countries.… Continue

New Shock System Harnesses Energy as you Drive!

It has been dubbed GenShock by former MIT students Zack Andersen and Shakeel Avadhany. Who have been working on a new shock system that generates electricity when you drive through pot h*** ridden streets. The system can also save you significant gas savings as it powers up everything from air conditioning to your radio.

21 Ways to Save Water:

got this from americanwater.com

"
  1. Never put water down the drain when there may be another use for it such as watering a plant or garden, or cleaning.
  2. Verify that your home is leak-free, because many homes have hidden water leaks. Read your water meter before and after a two-hour period when…

Water Visionaries

I'm currently following Ashoka, Changemakers and thewaterproject.org on facebook. Unfortunately i don't see many ways of collaborating with such groups. Perhaps in the future they will let more people collaborate with them. It seems for now the only type of collaboration they do is post updates on facebook.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
