My favorite clean water projects include anything that gets water from the air. Using water from the air is one of the most natural things, using biomimicry for gather fresh clean water is great.
Some of the projects that people are doing with this is:
Fog Catchers <--- They use large screens that collect the dew for drinking.
Atmospheric water Generators:

This year i decided would be the year that i would start being more eco-friendly. I have yet to start recycling because my city took away the bins. Everyone is angry about it, the bins were always filled to the top and bags stacked near it because there were so many. But my city got tired of it, sick of always having the large green steel bin in there line of vision. A festering sore in there mind, Everyone in town thought about it another way though. We all were glad to see that our city was…

According to an article on guardian.co.uk website. UK air pollution caused by the burning of diesel and other fuels can be deeply inhaled into the lungs causing 50,000 deaths a year. The usually lifespan shortening is 5-6 months but as for the vulnerable people in the population it can cut up to 9 years off a persons lifespan. Despite these critical issues to public health little is being done. As of today there are still no measures put into effect to protect air…

Today i was out working in the gardens. My family and i split up the chickens between our two homes, but she said i might have to put them all at my home since there is a privacy fence, no one will know they are there then from a distance.
The garden at my house is looking good, the herbs should be ready soon and i still have a good supply from last year. The turbines are all working and the solar panels are in good condition. We have the solar panels placed on top of the flat part of my…

My hero would have to be everyone who makes a difference, who changes something for the better. Why focus on one person? Everyone can make a difference with a little bit of collaborative effort and ideas. That is why i have chosen as my hero, the people who make a difference.

The biggest challenge to food security in my town is this. We have land on the river that we grow corn on,nothing but corn and all of it is shipped out. None stays to support the town, we don't even have a farmer's market. It is illegal to own farm animals! Even though we know that some of us do it anyways though. There aren't any innovative solutions for us. Our town even got rid of the recycling center we one had. If global warming and food shortages happen to us in the near future, we are on…

The store where we live just raised the prices again on everything. It's the only store our town has and we are over 15 miles away from the next one. No one can afford to shop there anymore, they raise the prices now even when they don't need to, just because they want to price gouge us some more. My family was on food stamps up until a few months ago. They kept cutting the money on the cards until there was nothing left.
The prices are horrible! Everyone says there going to get worse…

I read the tips on the innovation in Africa and i agree, infrastructure begets infrastructure. Use what you have to build what you need. If your town is in trouble and needs a community garden but there is none. Find the land, have people donate the tools, donate their time, their effort and you can succeed in anything.

Me and my family bought 30 chickens last year. We gave half of them away to a farmer who gives the eggs away to people in his town. The rest of them were kept for my family. We also are planting fruit trees and started a garden. This year we are expanding our gardens and planting more. We also want to reverse the laws in our town forbidding farm animals so that the people in our town who are having trouble will be able to have fresh eggs.

The year is 2020, it's my sister's birthday and she is 26 years old today. Power is hard to come by lately and gas prices are sky rocketing. My family only comes to visit on certain occasions now rarely. Today they came though. Making it before it was too late in the day. The sun still high in the sky on that fall day. Just enough day light outside for our party, it took several days for my mom to find all the supplies for the cake. It was hot out that day but since the air conditioners never…

Laptops could have solar panels embedded in the top and since laptops seem to produce a lot of heat. Why not have a way to collect the ambient heat from the laptop as well?

Each bloom box is the size of a refrigerator. The box uses a chemical process that combines oxygen and fuel "diesel, natural gas or propane" to create enough energy to power 100 homes. The current cost of the commercial version is $700,000 with a single home version being annouced to cost $3,000.
