instead of tackling social problems, I would strongly suggest that you'll join me and my efforts to focus not on the problems, but on what created them - the way we perceive ourselves and our world - moving from an individual geo-political perspective to a perception that sees oneself as part of the wh***, and taking all the responsibilty for making this change. the second goal is to focus on bringing the participants to experience the clear and present danger in not doing so - not as an…

just some ideas that poped up in my mind just now:
- the "other bank" - you can withdraw money - but it's not for you, but for other people.
your financial situation is interconnected with others
- the community bank - each community has it's own bank and manages it - it's a great way to keep your own interest :)

It's quite simple - you join the time bank system and specify your gifts, talents and expertise.
the "monitary unit" is one hour of your time.
for each hour you give, you get one hour of credit to "buy" things you need with it...
it's simple and beautiful, connects between people and encourge them to give for the benefit of others, knowing that in time of need I'll get it back...

money is an invention - a very powerful one.
slowly and gradually we become acostumed to the idea that its real - but it's just an idea.
we're forgeting the simple fact that it's only colorful paper that some authority has give it meaning.
as the last financial crisis has showed us - money can gain or lose value very quickly.
I think that the biggest change in the way we use money will come after another big financial crisis - and maybe, just maybe, our strong belief around the…

the year is 2020.
women are rulling the land, and doing a much better job than men :-)
dutring the last few years women realized some simple facts about themselves that helped them go through this tremendeous change:
they stoped cooperating with the mass media and men that presented them mainly as sex objects.
they started to collaborate between them, instead of working one against the other or being dependent on men.
they realize that you don't need physical power to…

one of the sadest things I see in my work and interaction is that many girls/women don't like themselves - they are dissatisfied with their body, their self image, their actions etc. in brief - they don't don't feel comfortable in their own skin.
one of the aspects of my job is to change that - and show that this is mainly a matter of the way they perceive themselves - that in reality they are amazing, powerful, creative, multi tasking and really function as super women in their enviroment…

THE BAREFOOT COLLEGE -
PROMOTING PRODUCTIVE EMPLOYMENT FOR YOUTH IN INDIA
A hundred years ago, when villages in India had no urban-trained professionals with impressive paper qualifications, what did the villagers do? They

play a huge game or a contest – to spend the entire day without using a single drop of water – and tell the world the creative solutions they found. The winners will win a financial prize
that they have to donate 25% of it to a water project that they want around the
world.

Today we're celebrating my favorite day of the year - the BAIA day (being as I am).
on this beautiful day nobody is working, and everybody is out on the street -
meeting one another and enjoying each other's company.
why is it a special day?
because on this day people are doing the one single thing they want the most,
but never dare to do during the rest of the year - be themselves,…

it's quite simple - 2 "rules":
1. natural - not prcessed/industrialized, without any artificial manipulations or additions.
2. as fresh as possible.
That's it.
No high tech.
No suphisticated theories or planning.
No need for expensive products and suplements.
No need for experts.
No recent visits to the doctor because of diseases caused by eating crap.
Just eating acording to the body needs instead of our mind's, and keeping it simple - trusting our…

One of the biggest problems in my country and in the entire area - is water.
each year the rain percipitation is decreasing, the water resources are filling with pollution, the food prices are rising etc.but for some strange reason - the main focus is fighting, debating, argueing and spending valuable time on nonsense that no one will remember in the years to come - but some how still get the main focus of attention...
The main innovation comes in the field of desalination, and Israel…

2020?
That's not so far really - before you know it's here.
2020?
You blink and it's here.
My vision?
I don't care where I live in 2020.
I don't care how much money I earn.
I don't care what other people will think of me.
I don't care what status I'll have.
I care only for one thing: the shift.
What shift?
The shift in consciousness.
The root of all problems facing the world today.
Make no mistakes - our problems today are not…

Hello everyone!
Sorry I've been gone for a while - reallity needs some attention :-)
There are so many amazing people outhere that are social innovators, that it will be a crime to mention only one.
I chose to mention people that are changing the way we think and look on our surroundings, and put less attention on creating different projects.
I'll mention a few here + why are they on the list:
Clay Shirky - is changing our perspective on society and technology.
Suzanne…

Despite great achievements and attaining many goals, the world is currently facing some of the biggest challenges in history. The notion that radical changes are required is pervasive. However, it might be
that our focus is wrong: While we put most of our effort and energy
into changing the environment and world, we are forgetting one “small”
thing – It is the way we perceive ourselves and the world that created
the problems in the first place. It is time to explore the…

Hello evreyone, It's good to be here!
Here are the "open secrets" social innovation I learned and was reminded of. The reason why I use the term "open secret" is because all these things are not new - these are basic human guidelines to live life, but we need to find and rediscover what is obvious - which not many people do.
Here's my list + reasons why it's important:
- Don’t fight culture - people don't like when others are trying…
