For starters... more families (that have access to large quantities of meat) need to do at least one meal a week without it.... then grow to two+.
Also, meat per meal is WAY too high! Most men should have 6 ounces of meat or less, but have more, 2 to 3 times more. Women, 2-3 ounces!
Meat, the right meat can be so beneficial but the body can only absorb so much. We consume meat and bread in much larger quantities then vegetables. This is a fatal mistake.
Besides…

I see myself as having been an administrator (principal) for ten years so I can retire at 52 with the most knowledge I can from our school system. (I have taught for 14.5 years.) This matters to me since I want to go to other countries and facilitate education and support for teachers.
Many teachers are not given the tools they need: education on learning disabilities and how to teach supporting students who learn differently. Many countries don't have cla**** or workshops on the…

Remember to use the supplies already available in the area you are trying to help. It is not cost effective to bring in or ship supplies from others countries unless absolutely necessary. Make a list of what is available.
Then make sure that natives or locals are involved in the creation and innovation of new ideas. Nationals need to have ownership in all decisions and activities.

I am wondering about bartering. It is still common in several parts of
the world, does not rely on currency, and promotes responsibility. I use
it often when trading between businesses. An example of an ONLINE
system is

I never thought of doing it online!

Make a micro-loan, even 25$, to Kiva and help someone make a future for themselves. You have an opportunity to help someone but you may not get your loan back. There is no guarantee but it is worth the risk.
I found Kiva from an Evoke agent, thanks! We have an Evoke group on Kiva, check it out.

Two days prior to Water Day 2020, there is a connection workshop(also online), ran much like TED where people speak for 5-10 minutes to introduce what their organization does and how it helps solve the world's water crisis. This is a networking time for all organizations to get to know their peers. A contact card listing all of the organizations and phone/email is given to each participating organization. After sessions there is contact time where groups in similar regions have time to…

Have you seen this video?
http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/eng/michael_pritchard_invents_a_water_filter.html
It is a way to stop the constant trips to search for clean water for 1/2 cent per day per family of four. The genius behind this is Michael…

Since I already know Rivers of the World, I looked through their site
www.row.org and found World Water Relief. They are putting filters and pumps in villages, up to thousands of gallons per day. They can purify at an ionic level without electricity (with certain metals) and have already been successful in may desolate villages.
