Urgent Evoke works as a way to make you think deeply about the world, its condition, and the future of our world. The program forces you to think as deeply as you can about ways to improve the world we live in. Not only does it just make you think while you are participating on the computer, but it makes people think about how they live life as well. It makes you care more about the world than you probably could have ever imagined.

For season 2 of Urgent Evoke, I think that a great script idea would be to come up with some sort of theme. Or, maybe even just focusing on a more specifinc part of the world. It could even become a series like season 2, the far east, season 3 the aegean.

For Urgent Evoke, Season 2, I think a great idea would be to try and market the program to as many schools all over the globe. I was assigned to do this as a final/class project and I wouldn't have known about it otherwise. If more teachers and professors are aware of it and make it a part of an assignment, the word would spread like wildfire and would force many to unite in this wonderful lesson in life!

In the year 2011 when a pandemic flu strikes the nation, I would create a team of houswives to go into their homes and gather as many helpful household items that would be beneficial to people infected with the flu. The women would take the items they have and put them into packages and then send them to the places that need the most help. Some items might include ice packs, local medications, and cans of chicken soup to help in making the ill better.

My 'dark site' for a crises would be for a hurricane. It would include lots of information about where to find the most necessary resources for shelter and food. Also, I think a really neat feature would be to include some sort of tracking device for people who have been seperated from their families and can't find them in the aftermath of the natural disaster.

The most important factor to me in crises communication is public trust. Without trust, you have nothing. When we reach out to the different audiences, we find public trust is a big issue. If you don't have the trust, people aren't going to follow what you say to do.The idea behind the public trust is this: If people are concerned about something and you don't address those concerns, they really can't hear your message.

It is the year 2092, and I am now a 100 year old elderly woman. I would like to share with everyone some of my indiginous knowlege. The fish from Galveston Bay are swimming in toxic chemicals, not clean pure saltwater. When I was younger, I ignored warning signs that the fish are toxic and should not be consumed. Now, I am paying the price. I am warning you, do not eat the fish!!!

The homemade tool that would most useful in my area is a fishing rod. By maing your own rod and reel from a natural resource such as bamboo, you would be able to catch fish in the Gulf for generations to come.

The story that I found most impressive is the story about habitation of natural land in Peru.
"The valley of the Mayo River was isolated from the rest of the country until the 1970s, when construction of the Carretera Marginal trunk road gave access. A wave of spontaneous settlers from the highlands and the coast then came into the valley, increasing the population five-fold. Under such a dramatic event, the Aguarunas became a…

In the year 2020, my city would be much more conservative with how it uses energy, transportation and water. All new home built will have the newly created toilets that have 2 different flush settings to conserve water, and we will have a public tranportation system. As of right now, there is no way of public transportation. Once we include this into our cities development, it will help our environment tremendously.

I live in the city of Kemah, TX. My city has a wonderful thing that they have recently started called 'Farmers Market at CLear Lake Shores' in Kemah. The market was only held on the first and third Saturday of each month, excluding Holidays. By the overwhelming popularity, it is open every Saturday now. The market features locally grown items including fresh produce, eggs, cheese, coffee, baked goods, flowers, rum, homemade pasta, seafood and much more. The market also offers other services…

The area I live in is a coastal area, therefor, we are faced with the major possibility of Hurricanes. In fact, in 2008, my area, Kemah, TX (Galveston County) was faced with a huge hurricane, Ike that devastated our community. The possibility of something of this calibur happening again in the future is very large. I believe that this might happen again very soon. The best resource for protecting our community during a major natural disaster of this magnitude is word of mouth. After Ike, I saw…

I think that the life for the girl I chose to help by giving rides to the church once a week in 2020 will be a fruitful and satisfying life. The amount of money her family and her may or may not have might still be the same but I believe the young girl will have blossomed into a beautiful young women with rich beliefs in the church and a strong sense of self purpose. Because someone (me) gave her the attention she deserved and believed in her 100%, she will have the strength and confidence so…

There is a young girl in my community that has a love for religious education. He mother and father do not share the same interest in the teachings of the church that their young daughter has. The family also shares one car and does not have enough money to pay for the gas to bring the young girl to the church. In an effort to help the young girl learn what she truly believes in, I have decided to give the girl a ride to church once a week. By doing this, the girl gets the satisfaction of…

The story about women that I found most interesting was about the equality of Arab women.
The UN Information Center (UNIC) in Cairo, Egypt organized a roundtable discussion on the Status of Women in the Arab region 15 years after Beijing. The roundtable was organized by UNIC in cooperation with NGOs, including the Alliance for Arab Women, as well as government entities including the National Council for Women (NCW), the National Council on Childhood and Motherhood (NCCM), as well as the…

It is April 1, 2020 and we have a brand new natural currency that has just made breaking news! The new form of currency is made of tree bark and willw branches. The currency will be created in a factory using all natural methods to compress the materials to form the "natural coins". The currency will be used to purchase trees, bushes and plants.

My "bartership" is a very interesting story, and as it usually is with me, it is about food. My husband and I co-hosted a company party with his 2 bosses who own the company. We cooked the food, and the company payed for all of the ingredients. After our crawfish and shrimp boiling party, we had several pounds of the seafood leftover. In order to save the food, and make a trade or bartership, the company donated the extra seafood for us to cook. I made a 5 gallon pot of delicious seafood gumbo…

In order to help the world by moving money for free, this woman created a way to do so by creating PayPal and linking it to Twitter. Since 1998, PayPal had enabled people to transfer money to each other instantly. For the most part, its powers were confined to eBay, the online auction company that purchased PayPal in 2002. But last summer, PayPal began giving a small group of developers access to its code, allowing them to work with its super-sophisticated transaction framework. Ivey…

On world water day, March 24, 2020, I would plan an event so amazing that the world would never forget. I would have a day devoted to all of the natural water of the world such as the laked, ponds and rivers that run through the land and have meditation areas set up alongside the main bodies of water for all worshipers of the water to remember one of the most important elements of the earth.
