I disagree that there is a problem with money. Money is a great tool which makes trade all that much more possible. How many pigs is a wagon worth? Well if we put both in terms of an abstract then we can a****s how much each is worth, that is the purpose of money.

We should look at the fact that so many people living on less than $2 as a weakness of money, but we should look at that fact as the outcome of a weak social system. A social system which has governmental factors,…

I saw a speech on ted.com about Michael Pritchard's Lifesaver water bottle, it is a water bottle which contains a filter which can purify even some of the dirtiest water. Since the problem is not people having access to water, but people having access to drinkable water this water bottle-filter system is a great way of not having to ship millions of gallons of water all over the world.

I also helped to add Korean subtitles to this talk.

IMAGINE2 - My Meal from the Future

I think the most important thing about my meal from the future is the farm where the ingredients come from. What I mean is, how the produce or the meat was raised, what kind of farm did it come from? Is that farm contributing to world pollution or is it helping to solve it?

In business we study many many disciplines, from a great deal of math, to sociology, psychology, strategy, even anthropology. Business is truly a multi-disciplinary study, and I feel the same way about Agriculture,… Continue

I suppose in a small way I've been helping people feed themselves. I've been maintaining a small cooking blog which is targeted towards Non-Koreans living in Korea. Sometimes it's difficult for them to find ways to feed themselves outside of buying everything and I try to help by trying to maintain a blog in which I upload recipes of western foods and also Korean foods. Sometimes the ingredients for Korean foods can be hard to find, I also let people know where they can find some of these… Continue

I currently live in Seoul, South Korea. While not many would think of South Korea as a hungry nation, however with a growing population and diminishing cultivatable land Korea is having to rely more and more on imported food goods for sustenance. As we all know imported food grown half way around the world is no comparison for local grown produce. Many times due to the high import taxes in this country, people have to either pay much more for locally grown produced, or deal with the lower… Continue

IMAGINE1

Some time ago I realized that no matter what, to be able to succeed in the world you need to have a good business plan. Even with the best ideas, if you don't know how to bring them to fruition then it's quite useless. People are voting more and more with their dollars and less and less with their voices.

Case in point, green energy exists, electric cars, wave energy, solar-energy. These are not some fictitious future technology, they are today's technologies, but they are not being… Continue

I chose to shadow Ory Okolloh because I saw her TED speech a while ago. I friended her on facebook and it was exactly at that moment that I realized what an amazing tool facebook was.

At first I thought that It was just another space where people get together and post their drunken party pics and get way too involved with each others' digital lives. But I realized that It can be used to connect people and can be used to help them share ideas.

I have a dream of having my own… Continue

Understand by observing the environment,

infrastructure, culture and lives of people by being there.

I think the hardest part about coming up with good ideas, is coming up with good ideas that will work in a specific situation. Anyone can have a great world changing idea, but often these ideas are not applicable outside of their own environment.

For me it's not only about thinking outside the box, but about being able to inside of another… Continue

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Foods are vacc** sealded for easy…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
