In terms of the Pee-thing, could they be implemented with toilets at home? As well as having a solar-powered home, going to urinate could also help power your house! Each toilet would have a filter that would drain flushed liquids and then distribute it onto the chloride paper. The toilet would have a built-in LCD screen which would tell people when the chloride paper was almost finished so that people could go out and buy some more handy-packs (which include toilet paper AND chloride paper…

Its 2020 and my family is enjoying themselves at the beach for the Fourth of July. The city has recently installed hydro powered mills in the ocean, which created energy for most of our town. They are renewable and eco-friendly. We rode our bikes to the beach and brought our solar oven to make an all locally grown and organic lunch in. The palm trees are a good source of shade, and we have a clothes line to dry out wet hemp towels. The sun screen we use is made from all natural materials,…

act 2

My idea to increase food security in Germany is that children farming her own food and then they cooking self. They learn many things about their food and know, it is a product of nature. If they spend a lot of time in farming, they learn to respect the nature. Food is then not a stuff from the supermarket, but the result of hard work. After that they know, where a chicken or a pig comes from. Know about food leads to healthier diet and increase food security

Hmmm, tough decision. I spent a lot of time trying to decide who to follow, which was great. There were so many people I learned about and maybe still several I will try to follow to learn even more.

For now I'm starting with John Wood, co-founder of Room to Read. I love the focus on education and gender equality for children. I think in order to really make a difference in the world we need to empower our youth! I don't see John on Facebook but following him on Twitter and reading…

dinner

Finally dinner is on the table! Today is the "Day of Neighborhood" and I'm sitting at the table with my neighbors. We live in a new fashion of mansion in the center of the city, but our apartments are all on the northern side of the building, because every floor of the southern side is covered with gardens, using vertical farming technique. Each family has its own garden and we plant all kinds of vegetables and crops on it. I have sweet onions, pumpkins and lettuce, and I often exchange it…

We need to share more stories and lessons from past disasters. After Hurricane Katrina, many people along the Gulf Coast had no phone/internet service as many towers had been destroyed or the power was knocked out. In Louisiana, many Parish (county/district) offices had satellite phones; however, they did not have service because economic decisions had been made to cancel monthly service charges to spend those funds elsewhere. (Emergency activation of satellite phones in disaster areas would…

water

Water.org Projects has a very effective way of approach this problem. They dont only choose to help out much needed areas by simply providing them with clean water, but also educate the residence in the certain area about how to keep water clean and how to properly operate the water systems. Educating people is always one of the most effective steps to solving problems like these.

After one hundred years, everything will change. Most important of all, the energy sources we use now like oil, coal, gas will be run out. The government of each country will start a war because of the decreasing amounts of energy sources.

Due to there being less energy sources, the prices will be more expensive. People don’t drive cars, they ride bicycles instead. Scientist will find out and create the new energy. They will make new transportations that don’t use oil.

Because we…

The biggest challenge in my community for food safety is not that it is not enough. It is producing too much, it will be thrown away and much is unhealthy. This is generally very inefficient for the producer and the consumer. One idea would be that the over-production will be used for a healthy diet instead of thrown away them.

Accordingly nobody take care for a healthy diet and so many lives unhealthy.

Especially in the fast food sector is disclaimed to a healthy…

i picked Richard because at the age of 11 Richard decided to do something about his family’s losses. He observed that the lions never struck the homesteads when someone was awake and walking around with a flashlight. Lions are naturally afraid of people. He concluded that lions equate torches with people so he took the led bulbs from broken flashlights and rigged up an automated lighting system of four or five torch bulbs around the cattle stockade. The bulbs are wired to a box with…

i think what ever we eat has to be healthy and also consume a limited amount of food per person in order to think for those who don't have the ability to eat what we eat. Try helping those who are in need of help regading food in that manner we can do more in the community we are living in

i really like the Secret: If you want to make something 10 times cheaper, remove 90 percent of the material.

I like this secret because through my life I have seen that trying to get a deal on something isn't always a "deal." Usually there is a reason it is so much cheaper. Although it is great to research to find the best price on something, going overboard might get you in trouble

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
