The World Bank is currently consulting on a new energy strategy

The World Bank is currently consulting on a new energy strategy, due to be finalised in early 2011. We believe this offers an opportunity for a shift towards a limited but catalytic role for the World Bank in ensuring energy access for the poor and supporting the transition towards a low carbon future. But only if the World Bank commits itself to conversion into a much more transparent, representative and environmentally… Continue

BAMBOOZLED BY THE BANKERS

Word is spreading around like a virus:

BAMBOOZLED BY THE BANKERS

By Eric V. Encina

We’re all bamboozled by the bankers with their adroit way of robbing the

money that belongs to the people. The bankers arrogate themselves of

the power of the People’s Credit. Now, we’re shackled with chains of

horrendous debt with skyrocketing interest payments. There is no end of

miseries and sufferings.

How to use LOCAL CURRENCIES to HALF the public (national) DEBT

How to use LOCAL CURRENCIES to HALF the public (national) DEBT

If Ithaca Hours (local currencies) gain momentum, with Ithaca Hours you could buy Treasury Bonds at say, twice the nominal price to help USA to half the public debt. This because Ithaca Hours carry on only the printing press cost. This will introduce something totally unknown to central banking: COMPETITION and FREE MARKET. Are "THEY" ready to accept this challenge? This is my best EVOKE IDEA and it is interesting for EVERY… Continue

Paper (and water) is worth more than gold

Paper is worth more than gold.

Peter Wakefield Sault and Ardeshir Mehta are right about gold, paper and "thin air."

Paper: Wrapping gifts, preserving readable written symbols without advanced electronics using a minimum of space, freshening up a bit after sitting on the toilet.

Gold: Filling teeth, carrying electrons, serving as high-exchange rate per volume commodity with advantages of convenience in a barter economy.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
