Today I logged on onto Evoke and came across the act of the water crisis. As I was reading the objective, I immediately thought of some friends who are in need of water. Because there is currently lack of water since the heat has dried up most of it, there is currently a water shortage. I visited the water station asking about the water conditions. As I was already there, I asked about the water security and quality. Since the water is not completely clean, I suggested that they might build…

'Water for people' is definitely my favorite clean water project! It is an international project which includes locations from all over the world, from Africa to America. The project helps improve the countries water standings by building up the capacity and infrastructure of the water systems in that area. It mainly focuses on rural areas where water need is greatest as well as it's sanitation. Water for people is a great project which helps as well as gives clean water to areas which do not…

My future map consists of a new city plan of a new city. The main road which leads into the city center would be a high way leading into a normal street road. As the road is approaching the city center, there will be many different roads that are connected to the main one. Buildings are standing at the edges of the roads as well as allies leading to further buildings.
In my city everything would be organized with transport leading to everywhere. All the necessary buildings will be present…

I am currently living in Asia and the thsunami that has hit many different countries all over the world. If another thsunami would hit the country I live in, I would try my best to help the people that were effected. There will be
natural destructions, food shortages, power outages, and health problems.
Thsunamis are terrible for both the enviornment and the people and will trigger
many different problems such as communcation and social disruptions. I would
track recent…

My favorite holiday is Christmas and as everyone knows Christmas involves snow and cold weather. No one likes to freeze during such a great holiday and prefers to be in a cozy warm room. The problem is that the heat used to warm up the room uses up a lot of electricity, therefore in 2020 there is a new way of powering heaters. Heaters now warm up the room by letting are filter through a path surrounded by hot water which will automatically heat up the air as well. This means, air does not have…

Imagine a watch mechanism. Have you known that a watch does not need battery to work? Tiny pieces allow the watch to function with movement. This means that as you move your arms, the mechanisms inside the watch receive motion and therefore function.
There is a possibility that many of our everyday objects we use powered by electricity can be powered by the same strategy. These objects might not be carried around all the time such as a watch. But when an object needs to be charged or used,…

My neighbors do not know very much about the current city's adaptive
capacity. They believed the city's capacity hold enough for the wh*** city as some did not even know what the adaptive capacity means.
As I shared some of the new information I learned form Evoke, they were quite surprised and inspired. I told them about the Rise of the Carbon-Neutral City, which they found very interesting. Just like me, they believed that the Carbon-Neutral City will not only impact the city…

As I was looking around the internet searching for heroes to make the world a better place, I came across Tim Jackson who is working for a social and institutional innovation for a low carbon economy! Just imagine what the decrease of carbon could do to the earth as he and many others are striving to achieve just that, a low carbon economy. Tim Jackson is a member of the EPSRC/Carbon Vision programme which focuses on cutting the emission of carbon.
It is fascinating that such a…

As I imagine myself in 10 years, I foresee that I would be studying at a university somewhere around the world. The world itself has not changed a lot, but of course there is continuous creation of new technology and inventions. I would be trying my best to help the tokyo food crisis as I would continuously send food and other necessary utilities to the people of tokyo!

My favorite secret is that if you remove 90 percent of the material, you will be able to make something 10 times cheaper. It is quite amazing that moving 90 percent of the material moved can result in making the product 10 times cheaper.
Check out the article which includes many more secrets!

Have you know that public trust is a very important issue in pandemic panic?
We have to establish a strong public trust as panic is the loss of social order that people will be able to follow what you are saying to do. Building trust is important as it creates reliability to other people.
Another important factor is technology. We have to be able to create push technology as it must determine the right messages that are distributed for the issues. As we push these messages out, will…

I could imagine that technology would have greatly impacted the preparation of food.
In 2020, we would be sitting at the table during our work, as the food magically appears with robotic mechanisms to serve us our food from beneath the table.
It would only be made up of organic foods all created by machines and robots.
Of course you would still be able to cook your dishes yourself, but the new technology in 2020 will allow you to work and eat efficiently at the same time!

In villages, there are people that are wealthier than others, some might have more talent in cooking, or some may just not have the time. To solve all this, I have created a plan.
Once a family cooks a meal and has finished eating, there will most likely be left overs. Instead of throwing this food away, they will be able to bring this to a store in which it will be sold for a very cheap price. This way, weather a family does not have the money to buy the ingredients, does not have great…

Where I live, there are numerous of different factors concerning food security. First of all, some of the quality of food available is not good, therefore some people will get sick many times. Since the cost of food here is quite low, security of stealing is not a great problem.
My country is currently part of the Global Food Security as it is planning many different number of projects throughout the country.
Another great problem the country faces is poverty as the Global…

As I imagine myself to be 100, I would think that I would be telling my future generations about my current life. I would tell them about the global warning crisis and how we started using cloth bags instead of plastic bags.
I would also tell them how just as I was in school, we started to use computers to learn. Before, we used books, papers, and booklets to gather all of our information.
The sky was blue, and the grass was green. Jobs were getting harder to find as so many…
