Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

Rendani Mulaudzi's Blog (6)

I admit that the initial impression I had on this topic was that it was going to be centred on water conservation and supply issues; sanitation, health education, poverty never really registered. Moreover, the relationship between scarcity and poverty seemed to me distances apart.…

Hybrid concept

I found this part of mission three a bit hard to complete(seriously!) - most the technological innovations I came across were focused on using one type of technology(hydro-MFC-wind etc),and to me seemed a bit one dimensional.

By saying that they were one dimensional I mean don't to take away any credit for the good efforts people took to make these innovations available for our use, rather that the ideal, sustainable kind of innovation would have to anticipate…

Urgent Evoke - no power credit needed;just input.

Finding ideas on sustainable energy has not being easy as I intially thought,it has been tough;not in the sense that there are no ideas out there.

There are many ideas, however,I find that most these ideas are one dimensional in the sense that they are focused on one type of technology -microbial fuel;hydro;solar etc.All these are credible concepts(some better than others). But since the only thing that is constant in life is change.

I think one has to consider…

Shadow Hereos.

I've picked up Jason Aramburu as my hero to shadow. He is a Princeton Graduate,a New Yorker.

Bio-char is when you turn bio-waste into compost(fertilizer),as well as a replacement for coal (energy use) and through these application we able reduce carbon emissions to the atmosphere .This idea seem to me easy to apply - relevant, environmentally friendly and economically viable;I believe that an idea that meets these criteria.

I've joined re:char - (the company…

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
