Empowering Women

Its amazing how a species has claimed to evolve w/o showing evidence of evolving as a wh***. Women's rights should be respected in their entirety. Women are the vesels of life and without them there is no hope for survival.

Although I was unable to donate, I did share some stories I read about empowering women in the world.

Virtual Money

Virtual money is essentially going to be the new frontier. Basically it will conserve paper and also a lot of energy that is produce into printing bills. The only downside would be if someone manage to hack the internet or whatever system that was in charge of keeping record of this virtual money. I liked the idea about craigsbucks.

Green DC

It would be cool to see my city have Solar Power Nodes/ car charging stations throughout in each of the 4 quadrants. Point 1 on the map would be a water treatment/ hydroelectric station. Points 4 and 6 would be "green" shopping centers. Point 3 would be the new research institute. Point 2 would be…

Mizuno - friend of water

It would be cool to hold a worldwide competition to reduce water consumption for a week. Essentially because universities can be used to conduct controlled experiments, this competition would be for universities and global institutions all throughout.

Basically after a month of tracking and calculating the average amount of water consumed on a daily basis the universities would spends weeks leading up to World Water Day…

Inn0vnation

It is 2020. It has been a long way to getting to this point. As a wh***, the world has reduced its carbon emissions 10%.It is officially Inn0vnation day. A day dedicated towards

societies collective efforts to develop innovations to bring carbon emissions

down to ZERO. All over the world, children are planting trees, young adults are

Meals

Its March 10, 2010.
I am eating a meal that myself and 8 other individuals helped prepared. We are all of different backgrounds, but each of us has come together for the common goal of feeding one another.

Food Coop

I have been volunteering at the University of Maryland Coop. My volunteer work has given me a new perspective on the food I consume daily. Working there has forced me to value each meal I eat every day. Hours work there go towards meal points that can be used there as well. Working at a coop preparing food has made me so much more conscious of what I am eating as well.

I think that the idea of cooperating with other people to help feed others is great.

If other places were to… Continue

Describe the biggest challenge to food

security in your own local community or country -- and an

innovative solution that is already underway.

More than 12 percent of households in my city have been declared food insecure within the past 4 years. This rate has increase since 2003. Of the 12 percent, 4.2 have very low food security. In 2009, 19 percent of those surveyed stated that they did not have enough money to feed their families for an entire year.

40.6 of…

There were those who dreamt.

"What I treasure most in life is being able to dream.

During my most difficult moments and complex situations I have been

able to dream of a more beautiful future."

If God wills it to be and my drive and determination continue to flourish in regards to this matter, I will be stationed somewhere the US working on an action plan to solve sanitation issues in West Africa. Working with a team of individuals from all different fields of study and regions of the world, we will put… Continue

Provide Skills, not Finished Products.

In my opinion, the most important and significant posting about social innovation is the secret that reads Provide skills, not just finished technologies.

This statement stood out to me because it implies that rather than solving problems, educate people and equip them with the skills to solve those…

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
