More information about Ger District

This is an addtional post I wanted to make to answer Edwige Lelievre's questions (which were very inquisitive and essential, by the way).

I've talked about the basics of Ger District. But let's learn more about it.

The temperature variations: I've taken the liberty to take the climate table off the wikipedia:

It can get as cold as -35 Celsius in the winter, and as hot as 35 Celsius in the… Continue

4 Ways to Light a Candle Instead of Cursing Darkness in Ger District

Over my hectic schedule, I've been on and off with the evoke. I guess it's coming to an end soon and I would have to learn lots of things really quick in order to finish them before Evoke's deadline.

I've been looking at my past posts and I noticed I was only looking at the problems. And reading Riaz Haq's blog posts had me inspired to start positive actions driven for solutions. Here are some… Continue

How to Buy Groceries When You're in Ger District

As mentioned in the previous post, I'm largely focusing on ger district livelihood -- its challenges and possible solutions.

The Future of "Ger District" People in Ulaanbaatar

Well, in 2020, I'll have started selling a novelty product to ger district people. I will have published a book that targets them. Will imagine more starting next IMAGINE.

Shadowing Social Edge, the "Social Entrepreneurship Hero" organization

I was impressed by Social Edge and decided to follow them. I got in touch with them through twitter, not like you can find me from the follower's list -- it has 340k followers.

What do I do to shadow them? I think I'd need a little explanation. To shadow?

Solving "Ger District" Poverty Through Social Entrepreneurship in Mongolia

It all started with the smog. The smog reigned the nights of Ulaanbaatar and people on the streets were coughing up blood. Little babies and children were wheezing as the mothers and fathers drew them close in a fatigued arms. Ulaanbaatar city of 2010 was like the London of 1952.

Then people started wondering. Why do we have such a filthy air? How has it gotten to the unbearable level? How can we reduce the pollution before it… Continue

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
