There are currently more people living on this planet, than there have ever been humans on this earth. Think about it. Our global population is larger than all our previous generations COMBINED! Overpopulation is of growing concern. Population densities are increasing, hand in hand with poverty and hunger. China alone is responsible for 1.4 billion of the 6 billion people on this planet. It's September 2018 and the third African Global Issues conference is being hosted in the mother city, Cape Town. It's a two week program which takes place at CTICC (Cape Town International Convention Center). CTICC is an amazing venue fully capable of hosting such an event. The conference runs for two weeks, and covers most of the many issues that Africa faces. This event educates and helps further research. Such an event, can be powered by Wind Power. Continue

The sheer number of people facing extreme hunger is staggering. To overcome this will be one of the greatest challenges to be faced. The best we can do is help those we can. Together, through collaboration and cooperation the end goal of eradicating world hunger can be achieved. The goal is definitely long term. In ten years time, I see myself as a highly influential politician who is recognized as a key social innovator. I will be underway with community projects in South Africa when the Tokyo food crisis strikes. Derek founded the Playpower Foundation in 2008, which aims at developing affordable, effective and fun electronic learning games.
