This is what I would do . . . in 2020 I would go to where this massive toilet break occured bringing TONS of these bottles. I would pass them out, recording everything. I would start drinking the toilet water with these bottles. I would then pass them out to people to have them try it. I think this would be an amazing!!!! wake up call and truely promote good… Continue

Women of the future

I am a pure believer in women's rights and constantly tell my wife that she is as good as the men in her profession, Organic Chemistry (truthfully she is better than some).

The problem: when it comes to equality and other types of job related ideas it demoralizes the other "not equal" jobs. Women are told that have to get a college degree and that if they are stay at home moms they are wasting their education.

If we look at American culture asking someone, male or female, to… Continue

Women's awareness

I went the easy route. I posted this on my face book. I don't have the money to donate, but I work on a lot of these issues on a daily basis. My wife is an organic chemistry student and has to constantly deal with this mentality. The Good Old Boys Club!!! It is a constant struggle for her and other women to have to always PROVE themselves as equals everyday.

Summer 2020

My favorite holiday is July 4th, American Independence Day. I served in the military and truly enjoy my country. In 2020 I play on spending my July forth like this:

I wake up in the morning to head to the local farmer's market. My wife and I grab the dogs and through them into our completely recharged electric car. Because we don't spend the money for gas we drive a little farther than the mass market food store to buy locally grown foods. We get our bundle from our community supported… Continue

Solar Plug

Here is probably one of the best ideas on the planet :-)

I am sure people are working on this, but it needs to become available to the public and not be expensive.

I propose an outlet, like the ones we use in our homes, that can be portable and taken outside. It is very rare that we work outside in the summer when it isn't super hot outside or not sunny. This type of condition would be perfect for my solar plug idea.

If we could make a battery powered system that ran… Continue

2020 positive life choices

In ten years . . .

I plan to be teaching and I plan for my stuedents to be learning, but not the typical "No child left behind." subjects. I want to teach life lessons. I would love to be a high school teacher who instructs young adults on possitive life choices. This includes healthy eat, financial planning and community support. I would love to be a leader in creating a changed community. I think this could be accomplished if I am in a role that allows teaching not of the main 5… Continue

POWER PLAYER

I love solar power. I think it is one of the easiest ways anyone can assist in renewable energy. As a new home owner I have been looking up how I can get my house converted to solar energy. The problem is that sometime the sun doesn't hit the roof at the exact angle to make the solar panels most effecient. A company called cool earth, http://www.coolearthsolar.com/ , came up with an interesting solution:… Continue

ACT 1

I chose to follow Jamie Oliver. I recently watched an amazing video on TED.com, it is also how I found out about this program. My wife and I are huge into nutrition and helping other choose better options for food. I join the food revolution which is Jamie Oliver's attempt to correct the nations food issues in schools. I feel that by educating younger people on correct choices later in life.…

LEARN1

Try living for a week on $2 a day.

$2 a day for a month is $60. This ends up being about $780 dollars a year. When on a limited income people go one of two ways

the credit route, typical Americans, or the BUDGET route.

I chose this innovative idea for multiple reasons. We don't realize how much money we waste. I had to live off $20 a month during a year of my life. I had to learn quickly how to…

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

The meal

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
