Global Giving Beauty Pageant!

In 2020 internet users will give so much more to these women's charities. Why? Because charity portals like Global Giving will partner with Donald Trump to make giving money to women a prime-time entertainment spectacular!

Those third world girls may not have much power or material wealth, but one empowering asset they do have is what God gave them - their wonderful natural beauty! By 2020 us Western women will have reached out to our sisters in the South and taught…

Solar-powered marital aids

It's great to see the adult entertainment industry getting on board with green technology. Check out this these photos on gizmodo:

If only the game industry would too. My xbox uses so much power! I don't think solar power would work for game consoles though, because gamers never go out in the sun, let alone take their consoles with them.

Solar power rocks!

In 2020 I'll be celebrating my 10th wedding anniversary. Yes, that's right - I'm getting married this year!

My husband and I will probably go to Hawaii for our anniversary. It will be so romantic all we'll need to power our celebration will be candles and maybe some solar panelling to heat the water for our hot tub. Kind of like in this photo of me in my parents' jacuzzi:…

Farm punk attack!

My friends and I in our sorority have started a "farm punk" club. The other day we planted corn. In the middle of the night we ripped out the rose bushes out front of the Dean's office and planted corn!

Check it out here:

The caretakers are trying to find out who did it but we were pretty innovative with our disguises so I'm urgently optimistic that we won't get a caught or…

Virtual currencies provide inspiration

Do virtual currencies like Linden dollars count? Like this: http://bit.ly/aU4Bjl

I think it's great the way people in China who are too poor to have any real money have managed to earn gold in World of Warcraft and use that instead. I think it's a very sound solution, especially after learning about the Gold standard in my economics class last week.

The solutions are out there!

"If there were a need for it, the market would have already invented it."

I think we can learn a lot from this idea. The market is the most dynamic and innovative mechanism for meeting the needs of everyone on this planet. For every consumer need, someone has invented a product.

The question for us to solve is this:
The products are out there, so why are people not buying the products they need? Let's educate the people about these…

I'm shadowing..... Bill Gates! Read why.

Hey everyone,

I know that this might sound strange to a few of you, but for my Social Innovator to shadow I've chosen the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation.

I bet you want to know why I chose Bill Gates, right? Well actually, while I was researching this task I came across this article in TIME magazine, and…

Imagining the future of me!

In 2020 I hope to be running a profitable business that allows me to help underprivileged children. I'd like to be able to make a child smile every single day!

My business idea is part bio-chemistry, part business ingenuity - but I'm not going to blog about it here just yet because it's a top-secret idea involving some boring science!

By 2020 I hope that every new home is designed for zero carbon emissions - well at least that's the kind of house I plan to…

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
