Reporting on breaking news

A new shop has opened called Bits and Pieces. This shop allows people to hand in old clothes or even newish clothes that are too small for that person and they can also hand in old rugs, mats etc. These items are then made into new clothes for the poor that are affordable for them. Anybody can come in and start sewing bits and pieces together into clothing. The clothes will range anywhere between 1-5 dollars for those with some money and it will be free for those who have no money, this will…

What Evoke should change and tackle in season 2

In season 2 evoke should tackle the problem of Child Slavery and Child Poverty. They should have missions with questions like what you would do to stop Child Slavery or to stop Child Poverty. They could have quests that would make people more aware of how bad Child Slavery and Child Poverty are. Hopefully this would make more people want to make a change and to stop these horrible things from happening. Evoke is a great website and I dont think anything should change except for how long it…

Shadow A Hero

My hero is Sam Johnson. I chose him because he is a very helpful, thoughtful and friendly man. Sam Johson helped many people in Christchurch during the earthquakes with his group of students including himself who organised to shovel up liquefaction, to move peoples belongings and to comfort them. It was a very difficult time for people in Christchurch. Sam Johnson saw how much people were struggling so he got a group of students to help him to help others.

What you would do with a pandemic of sick people

I would set up a hospital and gather lots of water, food, medicine, first aid kits and lots of important things to help people with the flu other than medicine. The hospital would be set up somewhere clean like in a old warehouse or some place outside with shelter and where it is covered. I would get everyone with medical experience to help the sick people and I would make sure they all had full body protective gear and masks on so they didn't catch the flu. The sick people wouldn't be…

Write a manifesto for Evoke

Evoke is a great website with heaps of excitement and fun in the missions. Evoke gets you thinking and really gets your mind ready for anything coming your way. Evoke has missions you have to write a story about and quests you have to write about and answer questions which is heaps of fun. There is many people who have joined this website and I think the reason is because it challenges you and most people like a challenge. I think evoke is great for people who like a challenge, who love…

What you would tell your grandchildren when you are 100

When I'm 100 I will tell my grandchildren a few important things. I will tell them about the earthquake that Christchurch experienced in 2010-2011 and many stories about that. I will tell them to enjoy life and to follow their dreams and do something they want to do. I will tell them to stand up for what they think is right and make a change about it. I will teach them to stay honest and respectful to everything and everyone. I will tell them to stay healthy (excersize) and to stay in school…

Your town in 2020

In 2020 Christchurch will be rebuilt. Christchurch will have new modern buildings and new recreational centres with swimming, gym gear, running tracks and fields. New shopping centres will be built with some new shops. Christchurch will still have some of its historic buildings that have been strengthened but they will still look just as beautiful. The community and people will still be the same but the people will be nicer and happier than ever. Hopefully the chance of an aftershock or…

Women's rights in 2020

In 2020 women can have the same jobs as men, do the same things as men and more women will likely be able to be presidents and have higher roles like that. Women will have more opportunities especailly in jobs and will become more independant and confident. In 2020 women have the same rights as men.

Water importance day

I would have my event at a lagoon. We would have kayaks to go around on and jettys to flip, jump or dive off or anything you want. There would be sand castle competitions, kayak races and a build a raft competition that you would race once you and your group have finished making it. Loud, happy music would be playing by a wonderful band that people would be dancing to. Little cafe shacks would be selling snacks and drinks. There would be little markets and shops that sell bracelets, anklets,…

2020 special day

It's my 20th birthday and I'm so excited! I'm waiting impatiently in the car desperately wanting to get home. This afternoon I went shopping with my friend for clothes to wear to my party. Then we went back to her house because I wasn't allowed to be in the house when they were decorating it. I'm wearing my turquoise coloured dress that I got this afternoon and my new dangly earings and high heeled shoes. Tonight we are going eco friendly with glow sticks and paper plates and cups. We arrive…

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
