This ultra-portable device is ideal to have on hand when you're roughing it. It also makes a great addition to any emergency-preparedness kit. No plugs or wires are required. Instead, turn the hand crank to power the Microlink, or capture the sun's energy and run it on solar power. You'll always know what's going on, thanks to the AM, FM and weather bands. You can also tune in to the FCC and EAS public alert systems. Add the flashlight, the cell phone… Continue

Imagine If You Will 2020

Imagine if you will... by Douglas Mallette

You wake up on a Monday, living somewhere in the central United States (could be anywhere, but I'm using my local reference for the sake of discussion). When you wake up doesn't really matter. If you're a night owl, who functions better in the dark, maybe that's around noon. If you're a morning person, it could be at the crack of dawn. It really doesn't matter since you dictate your own schedule like…

5.think like a child – children have no limit to their thinking

To me trying to think like a child is a lot of fun. but for most of us are not children and we have lost that creative spark. We lose that creatively when we age, and as we do are minds become dull. I think it's created from the ways were taught in school, we are afraid to be wrong,look at the kids to day. If a child doesn't know the a answer her or she will give it a shot, but for us adults we are afraid to be wrong. So if we can't brake the fear of being wrong, how can we ever go on to find… Continue

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
