I think it is really hard to find improvements to such a wonderful game, because I think it was mostly perfect in the first season.
Anyway, in the future I think that Evoke should tackle more specific issues, which are related to our international community. For instance, I would have liked Evoke to tackle either the Greek or the oil crisis near the American Coast.
Evoke can also be improved by making it known more. I believe that some commercials are needed, so that much more…

The new Pandemic Flu has just reached Italy.
This new virus is an evolution of last year's AH1N1 (swine flu).
I am responsible of a group of online heroes (ordinary volunteers), who will help fight this flu.
This new virus was discovered recently, so a cure has not been developed yet.
Anyway, we can still help by spreading the voice online, so that people know how they can avoid getting the flu, and what precautions they can…

After reading over the five secrets of crisis communication, I came to the conclusion that managing panic is the best way to face a pandemic.
If panic is not managed, chaos will be the result.
People should be made aware by the government that a solution exists. If hope is maintained, the pandemic can be beaten.
Here is what Dori Reissman, United States Public Health Service, states:…

Right now I am 100 years old, and I have realized that the time has come to pass to future generations my indigenous secret.
The secret I will pass on is the same one I have carved in stone, in the long-ago 2010: there must be a balance between technological progress and nature.
This, I believe, is the only way through which happiness can be achieved, by preserving the planet we live in.
This secret has helped me to continue on the right path for many years, and I hope…

For several years, many indigenous communities such as the Mayan Kobi and Hopi, have told their prophecies regarding the balance in our world regarding elements such as humankind and nature, for example.
This, I believe, is one of the most important secrets that need to be kept alive, because from very theoretical philosophies that they are, they can become concrete actions if they are listened to, and can actually help solve some of the greatest global problems, such as the water and food…

After reading some successes of the CBNRM, I came across one which caught my attention.
The one I chose is about fishery reservoirs, that have a great importance in Burkina Faso.
The CBNRM helped by drafting fisheries management plans.

I imagine that in 10 years time my town will certainly have developed its skills in keeping the environment clean. This is why more trees have been planted.
Plus, we will also have resolved our water problems that sometimes we have during the summer, thanks to collaboration among us by raising funds to build a great container of water that fills up with rain water.
Here is the map, sorry for the bad quality but this is the first time I've ever used Google maps.…

If you have been reading my blog posts, you will know that I live in a very small town called Roletto, in the province of Turin, Italy.
Due to the fact that it is a very simple community, our possible future crisis is simple as well, or at least you have certainly heard about it in different contexts or situations. Since many people who live here are farmers, a great crisis they might encounter is that the wells and sources of water dry out during the summer. As a matter of fact, this…

I live in a very small town of about 2000 inhabitants called Roletto, in the province of Turin, Italy. It is situated very near the alps, so its urban resilience does not involve the topics that the major cities have. (It doesn't even have a website, just to make you understand how small it is).
Since it has a deep contact with nature, the way that Roletto tries to increase its resilience is by mantaining its "green". So sometimes it organizes some social events in which the citizens…

In 2010 I have donated $75 to the Learning Centers in Herat, a province of Afghanistan.
This amount of money helped to pay a teacher's salary for 30 female students.
Thanks to this donation they had a proper education, and many of them managed to pursuit their dreams, and become lawyers, doctors, and teachers.
The girls that I helped in 2010 finally have more rights and certainly are empowered in today's world of 2020.
I remember that in 2010 women rights…

After I have clicked on the link "100 ways to support women's rights" I noticed various ways through which the life of 1 or more women could be improved.
However, the option that I found more interesting of the ones I read was about improving the education of unfortunate girls.
I have donated $75 to the learning centers in Herat, a very important province of Afghanistan. The amount of money I have donated through VISA is equal to one month of a teacher's salary for 30 students,…

The story I chose from the WomenWatch feed is fairly recent and shocking, as well.
Egypt is responsible of human trafficking, which involves especially children and women.
Human trafficking is one of the worst and most horrible violation of human rights that can possibly happen.
The women are currently being trafficked for the purposes of forced labour and sexual exploitation. About one million women are exploited in prostitution and forced begging. Some local gangs…

Finally it has arrived! The World Bank has decided to launch its new currency: The North American Dollar. Today, in the year 2020, North America does what Europe did in the year 2002: it will be unified under one single currency.
By North America we mean the USA and Canada, only. Mexico is not included because its economy did not allow the introduction of a new currency. Economists suggest that if a new currency was introduced in Mexico, it would have had the same effect that the Euro had…

My family and I have been using an alternative currency for a couple of years, now.
Our house is in the middle of a very large property, in fact we own a wood. As you can imagine, the trees need to be taken care of, in the sense that they often need to be cut when their branches enter a neighbour's property or when they fall.
The person willing to this work for us is a local farmer. He has a very old boiler, that does not function with gas, but only with coal and, preferably,…

According to my research, the future of money is quite straightforward.
In the future, money will be completely electronic. Paper money will barely exist.
The experiment of the electronic money is already working today.
Plus, I am of the opinion that the best solution for money is to allow the circulation of only 4 or 5 currencies in the wh*** world. This will certainly help the world's economy, by making sure that less and less economic crisis…

Today is a very important day, since the first World Water Day took place.
I was in charge of organizing the event. The first thing that I decided to do was to make sure that all the schools throughout the world, especially the international ones, participated in this spectacular event. Secondly, all the companies had to take part in this festivity, so that both children and parents could participate.
It was nothing expensive (halloween probably costs more). What happened in all…

I have already made an alliance with someone who helps fight the water crisis. His name is William (Bill) Boyle. He has been my english and history teacher in middle school. In 2006 he brought me and other four kids to Burkina Faso.
He has been involved with the project for a long period of time, and is right now. He managed to help build more than 10 wells.
Why does he do this, you may ask yourself? Because helping others is what makes him happy.
Unfortunately, I…
