ExxonMobil's outlook for 2030: renewable energy = 2%, Oil/Gas/Coal = 80%

"According to Exxon's own outlook, global oil demand is set to reach 116 million barrels a day by 2030, up sharply from 86 million barrels a day today.

Meanwhile, renewable fuels, like solar, wind and biofuels, will grow at a brisk pace but they will account for just 2 percent of the world's energy supplies by then, according to Exxon, while oil, gas and coal will represent 80 percent of global energy needs by 2030. "

Imagine1: Imagine all the people, Sharing all the world

March 7, 2020

As I returned from the International Lunar Outpost, I couldn't but help marvel at all of the progress that has been achieved in the last decade. So much has been accomplished, from transforming the energy grid, to the numerous breakthroughs in batteries and photovoltaics. Although it is nice to reflect on the progress of the past, I mustn't loose sight of the present and future. I didn't start this company to just help a few million, I did it to help a few billion.… Continue

ACT1: MicroFinance

It is easy to find inspiration in Mr. Sanju K**ar - CEO and Founder of http://www.samrudhi-india.org.

"SAMRUDHI's mission is to empower the poor and underprivileged to become economically self-reliant by providing cost effective and need based financial services in a financially sustainable manner"

I believe empowering the local people to pull themselves out of poverty by opening access to cheap financing…

Providing jobs to people in the poorest of countries is a great way to infuse cash into the nation. If the citizens have disposable income, commercial enterprises will follow.

Unfortunately, there are a couple things that need to happen first before we can even think about the best economic vitalization path. Those are undeniable access to water, food,…

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More
