in the year 2020, i hope to be sitting down to a meal that consists of veggies grown right in my back yard, and organic meat that is grown and processed locally.
however, if its winter and our garden isn't producing, i'd like to be able to be able to go and pick up some fresh veggies grown at the local greenhouse. the local greenhouse is heated geothermically, uses fiber optic lighting during the day, and ultra high efficiency full spectrum lighting at night. most of the operations…

My wife is an avid gardener, but this year she is going all out. i built her a bunch of big raised beds out of cinder blocks, and a couple of smaller ones out of wood. i made a few trellis' so that the veggies can climb up and use the space as efficiently as possible. i'm sure i'll end up helping to can a lot of the veggies later this year, and i'm sure we will be giving some of it away.

the people in these depressed regions are not starving, drinking dirty water, and living without clothing or shelter because there is a lack of resources on the planet. they don’t have these things because
they have a lack of purchasing power. simply put, they don’t have the
money to purchase the necessities of life. there are a few reasons why
this could be the case. either they have absolutely no resources that the
rest of the consumer world wants, and therefore have…

When it comes to social innovation, jacque fresco is clearly on the cutting edge. is the world ready to understand his ideals? i don't know. do i agree with 100% of what he says? no, but its up there at least into the mid to high 90%'s. even jacque himself admits that his ideas are not perfect. but he is willing to listen and learn and involve anyone that is interested, and that's good enough for me. has the world outgrown the current social systems we have? absolutely!!!!!!
to get an…
