When I am 100 years old, it will be hard to pass on all the knowledge I have acc**ulated throughout the years. Just doing the smallest things to contribute to the planet and its well being go a long way. People often take for granted what they have been given: their lives, their loves, their personal possessions, to the very planet they live on. Never take advantage of the things you have been blessed with.

Traditional knowledge and technical knowledge are used to go against each other in the past. Because aditional knowledge was considered largely a research topic, and technical knowledge was
considered as a replacement for primitive or outdated practices.…

For Urgent Evoke Season 2, I think there should be a script about kids being brought over from all around the world to discuss all the issues gone over in Season 1. By doing this, it allows a social debate about real world issues. The majority of the people who have taken part in this Evokation are the younger generations, which, in a sense, are the ones who are going to eventually have to assume the responsibilities of protecting Earth and all of its country's well being.

The person that I have chosen to shadow is a man by the name of Jim
Fruchterman. He's a super genius engineer that is using technology to
help solve problems in today's society. I feel like technology is
something that has such great potential in helping shape our future and
help to move humanity to a better place. This man is taking practical
steps and making it happen. It's so nice to read about people that are acting and taking part in things instead of just talking…

Key Challenges for Evoke in Season 21. Turn ideas and research
into reality.
2. Get Evoke agents to work together to increase
their effectiveness.
Agents could sign up for small teams which
focus on a specific problem of their choosing. Some missions would be
short, lasting a week.
Other team-based missions would be
longer, lasting a number of weeks. The goal is to turn ideas…

This is eastern Anaheim. By creating a bike system it would allow a more economy friendly way for people to get around and to aid with the weight issues many Americans seem to face. When I say "bike system" I mean that you can check out a bike, just like you would a book at the library, but you can return it at any of the posts closest to your destination.…

The Orange County Department of Education Emergency Preparedness is a group of people that offers help to anyone who has access to the internet. They have workshops and training to local citizens and have files that can be read by anyone to act as a helpful source of information to do with any given emergency.
Examples of some things it offers guidance with are safer schools, an emergency operations center course for schools, critical incident management training, disaster service…

"There are nearly 456,000 people at risk for hunger every month in Orange
County. Hunger touches people of every age, race, ethnic group and
neighborhood. In some families, hunger occurs when a sudden emergency
or crisis hits, but for most low-income families, hunger has become a
long-term condition of poverty.
Among the vast majority of hungry people who live in Orange County,
hunger is a hidden problem. It strikes individuals and… Continue

Bartering is trading goods without using money or any form of currency. Nicole's Barter Bank was designed to do just that. What someone might really need might be in high supply in a different society. By doing this, it allows people to help each other while helping themselves. These banks are located all around the world and becoming more and more popular with the loss of many different currencies. One commodity is starting to take over all others. Converting money is a thing of the past.…

I found Barter Bucks Banc to the most innovative way to help small buisnesses, working women, marketing, work at home moms, buisness, networking, entrepreneurs, and overall bartering of goods and services that will untimately benefit both parties.
"Barter for business is great if you have products or services to offer and are looking for products or services to trade. As this group grows there will be more and more available to trade in person!" -Nicole…

This quote really inspired me to dig deeper and research more about just what money's role in any given society is. Money really has not always been treated the same and continues to be used differently throughout diverse cultures and societies.
"Money is an invention of the human mind. The creation of money is made possible because human beings have the capacity to accord value to symbols. Money is a symbol that represents the value of goods and services. The acceptance of any object…

Many people think that we have come up with so many great ideas and have nothing left to invent. They are 100% wrong. How many patent applications are received per day? 485,312 / 260 work days per year. That means 1,867 patent applications are recieved on any given work day. (
that information was found here.) If inventors channeled their knowledge to…

Being a student, I am always either writing or typing. Having a pen or pencil generate energy when writing on paper, chalk to a chalkboard, expo marker to whiteboard are just a few ideas that come to mind. Top computer companies could design laptops and desktops that generate energy when people type on the keyboard. Actually creating these things or a possible prototype is not something I thing I can do. Science is not really my thing, but if these things were to be created, I would definitely…

When looking over all the different links and reading about all the different things that people have come up with is mind boggling. A soccer ball used as an energy source, dancers in a club, and many other ideas that would never even seem like logical ideas. People should just brain storm about all the different ideas and that could possibly become actual ways to produce energy. After reading over…

Considering that 1.1
billion people rely on unsafe drinking water, my World Water Day in 2020 will be geared towards water purification. Improving the quality of water and having a demonstration for the public in southern California on how every person can individually contribute and what their small amount of effort can do to make a difference. Once the demonstration is through, tell everyone to challenge themselves to not only work on purifying water,…

In my LEARN4 blog entry, I mentioned that having more advanced water conservation system can be more expensive than those that do not save or clean water as efficiently. Start by going over what methods of infiltration your school uses and seeing how they choose to recycle their water. If money is what they need, talk to students about the importance of water conservation and and start a non profit organization at your school to help save water. If this catches on, you can go talk to other…

EcoSchool Design was my favorite water conservation article because it best reflected what I can personally do as a student. By knowing where the water goes and following the pipelines throughout the school, you can get a better idea of how to conserve it and infiltrate it. Some schools have taken things to a higher level and taken water from their bathroom sinks and toilets to be purified and reused. Of course, I'm assuming these purification systems are more money. If people put in a decent…
