A crash course in changing the world.
One of the biggest challenges in my local area is that there is a large population of elderly citizens that do not have the assistance or the resources to obtain substantial and health food. In response to this problem, my community has a very large Meals-on-Wheels program that works to deliver daily meals to those in need.

In 2020, I hope to have finished law school and passed my bar exam. I will be looking to get a job at a prestigious law firm in my hometown while also making a difference in the community. I will also still be pursuing my hobbies of horseback riding and wake surfing competitively. I will probably have married a great guy and be looking to start a family. When I am called, I will try my hardest to make a difference in Tokyo.

I chose to follow Boyan Slat on Twitter. He is a 19-year-old student at Delft University of Technology who developed plans create an Ocean Cleanup Array that could remove 7,250,000 tons of plastic waste from the world’s oceans. He also founded "The Ocean Cleanup Foundation, a non-profit organization which is responsible for the development of his proposed technologies. I loved the tip "talk to the people who have the problem – and LISTEN to what they have to say". I believe that it is easy to say that you spoke with someone but actually listening to what he/she has to say and taking what is said to heart is much more difficult. Listening to other's experiences and ideas may spark ideas and innovative thinking within oneself. #LEARN1
