My Cities Resilience Plan (making it better for the future)

Corrupt Banks:European Authorities Fine ICAP $17 Million in Libor Investigation

"European competition authorities fined the British financial firm ICAP about 14.9 million euros, or $17 million, on Wednesday, saying the firm had breached antitrust laws by facilitating attempts by several banks to rig a benchmark interest rate."

This affects the average everyday person because now you can see the banking industry can no longer be trusted. They cut shady back room deals with their friends but over charge people for just making a credit card transaction or a transfer…

My first hand account of money in the future

This week I became a member of the revolution of the way money is handled in the world. I made an online purchase for valentines day using the payment method of PayPal, a new and inventive way to purchase items cutting out the banks and credit card companies between the producer and the consumer. The thing I liked the most is the level of privacy when using it, it pops up in my bank statement as a PayPal purchase, therefore my bank doesn't know im spending my money on only the producer and…

The Future of Money

Money and its exchange has changed over the years from gold and silver coins, to paper money, then plastic electronic credit cards and the process by which it changed hands has changed as well. After doing some research I see the future of money making a drastic change again. With the growing bureaucracy of credit card companies and banks I see companies like PayPal being the future. It cuts the middle man out, business no longer lose their profit for fees put on them from the banks and…

Where will I be in 2020?

I 2020 I hope to be serving my country as a commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps. I hope to have a large impact on the world by going forth on humanitarian missions that I get deployed on as well as disaster relief seeing that these are two primary missions of the Marine Corps. I will be able to help build countries and train their militaries and their infrastructures so that they can thrive and rise out of the economic and infrastructural situation that they are in.…

Social innovaters

I can directly relate to "Go where the action is", because in order to be successfu you cant sit around you have to be activly searching for social issues aroound the world. Once you find it you have to go to where the action is, the point of friction in order to make quick responsible decisions to benefit your cause. The best leaders lead from the greatest point of friction.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
