In my home, currently we have a fire escape facing the noon sun everyday. Except for in the rain that is. This week we will install solar panels onto our fire escape to generate electricity to power simple things like our television, lamps, and possibly even fridge. We currently use our apartment electricity for most things but upon discovering solar panels, we can rewire it to the panels, and even use a solar powered cellphone, or homephone to make phone calls. Jane Mcgonigal. I decided to shadow Jane because she is one of the most important people who is making a difference. Jane created evoke and many games, all going towards making a difference in the world. She is creating new ideas daily, and inspires me that you can take one hobby and make into a life changing, world changing thing.

My job was to create a garden of food for people, and gather groups for projects. After our

team saw the first sprouts of our planting we decided to celebrate. The

irrigation systems are in place, and the soil is breathing new life

Though currently I am in a bad situation at home with food and money, living on my own with my boyfriend at 17 is hard. This week we helped conserve energy by unplugging everything when not using it, and by keeping the lights off as much as possible. We planted strawberries Friday, and they should be sprouting soon. I have started a job at a local flower shop to learn more about gardening to plant in our community. I hope to save money, and energy by making our own food at home.

Tonight is March 10, 2020. Regardless of the fact that I am in the

starving country, tacos will be served tonight. After gathering my team

of 20 today in town I brought them all to my temporary home, with their

children, brothers, and sisters all included. Before making the journey I

was sure to run to the store. I plan to live here like everyone else,
