i will be eating a retro TV dinner. I am a fan of those types of things when they taste good and lets face it, they will still be around in 2020. It will be be bought at a supermarket and i will be eating alone in my apartment in NYC. It tastes like home, of roast chicken and mashed potatoes. There beans with it and a parsley butter sauce.

Two Actions

Charity: Food Bank: Food banks are great don't get me wrong but they are only the first step in a long chain of events that must take place to stop the lack of food security. This is a hand out, while most food banks offer programs they mostly give food to people. We need more than that. While I did volunteer here on many occasions it isn't the most valid.

Justice/Equality: Many programs exist in the world for making the food security of everyone equal and independent,…

Poverty from: http://www.urgentevoke.com/profiles/blogs/how-to-stop-poverty-but-ill

While Dan has put in many valid statements I believe that something else can be said. One of my teachers had a cousin who was very impoverished. Even though he had inherited most of the estate but he did not wish to do anything. It proves that it is mind over matter, or in this case money. To stay in a state that is not impoverished one must first and foremost want to earn a living. This state of mind may be brought on by many things such as substance abuse, and trauma.
Other places such as…

Justice not Charity

what everyone needs is justice. They need to be treated fairly, like human beings instead of nothing. We see it everywhere, Africa, Asia, America, and Europe. Charity will not solve problems which is a shame because everyone is good at charity. What people need is to be treated fairly to participate in matters both social and financial with others. We must be humble and not think above ourselves, like a social innovator has to. The US has, for too long, believed that charity will solve the… Continue

Social Innovator

My task is to find one thing about being a social innovator. Being a social innovator is to open one's mind to the way one can solve problems. This path entails working with the community, being aware of the events in the world and want to act. They must seek for "outside of the box" solutions but not get rid of ways that work, or ways that go against the rights of human beings.
All of this will help me change the world because within our developing society one must seek new and creative…

2020

Everyone does their part, mine may be big or small. I am hoping big. In 2020 I will be head of a new order developed in the governmental system. There are too many restrictions made by government, and politics. The media has taken over our lives. The truth is covered so that people who do not suffer can be happy. That is not what is world needs. This world needs help. The political structure stops good ideas from being passed, and cycles bad ones through. I will fundamentally rework the… Continue

Following them

I chose to follow Pop! Tech by following them on Twitter. I chose them because they seem to cover a wide variety of different areas such as health and technology. Health is important to the existence of the human race and advancing our technology from today's hard ware will create new horizons with which we may explore. If I were to go into a field involved in social innovation there would be so many ways to help the world and Pop! Tech covers so many varying types.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
