My city will be built around nature, so as not to do as much damage. So it won't have blocks, but will be arranged randomly, avoiding big areas dense with trees and wildlife. Also, there would be a center however, where all the convenient places are so the harm to nature is confined to a space, rather than everything being spread far out. Any buildings and utilities used in everyday life would be there, and things such as waste and water and electricity would be near an area away from…

If a flu crisis and pandemic occurs again, I will take into account the things learned from the previous swine flu epidemic, and provide a vaccine and treatment for it early on. Also, in poorer places, more room needs to be made in hospitals for patients to stay in for help. Also, I will gather a team for research, and scientifically prove that the flu isn't as dangerous as people come to believe, and will not cause serious everlasting effects if treated. This will turn the pandemic to merely a…

When I am 100 I will carry the visions from the past where the world wouldn't be dominated by urban environments, and many species that would be extinct or engdangered are still freely roaming the earth. I would strongly warn people all over the world to be careful in their use of fossil fuels, nuclear energy, and other natural resources so as not to deplete the planet of life. Another thing I would talk about is the importance of learning long-distance space travel, or life in space, so if the…

The agents of urgent evoke work together, sharing ideas and thoughts about the future of the world, and also solving hypothetical situation that could very well become real. People pool their thoughts together with posts, while being able to comment and see the ideas of others. This way ideas mix, and many new visions will emerge. These prepare people for the future, enabling them to save the planet! People complete missions of learning, acting and imagining, attributes that help them develop…

One way I can help save power is by trying to get a hybrid car, because since getting my license, I will be needing and most likely getting a car within the next year. Having a hybrid car saves lots of gas, and considerably reduces emissions. It could be using both electricity power and gas power, so I won't be using as much gas and creating less pollution. Other ways i conserve energy is to shut off my light everytime I leave the room, even for a short time. Not doing so is a bad habit I've…

Amory Lovins is actively trying to lecture and let people know how to change their ways and reduce consumption of oil and fossil fuels. Educated at Harvard and Oxford, he advises the government and worldwide major firms on how to save energy and resources efficiently. He wrote books on reducing consumption by making a commitement to a policy that rewards social innovation. This will motivate people to see his reasoning, and make small sacrifices with commitment to follow a sound energy-saving…

My mother grows some vegetables in our backyard, and I could help improve our families food security by helping her research the best and healthiest way to grow healthy, strong plants that provide nutrition, and will not catch disease or have bugs that could be harmful to a human. This will help the food safety in our family slightly, since we always have home-cooked meals. Another way is to tell my family and friends to always buy organic products when they can, so HGH, pesticides, MSG, and…

There aren't any major problems around my area, and I am very fortunate to have that. However, there are still some small ones. There are a few restaurants that don't use fresh foods all the time, and some of the old ones have given people food poisoning, or induced sickness, like vomitting or diarrhea. This is a big problem, but if people write online reviews about it enough, it would prevent people from going, and the restaurant would realize it has to change its ways. Also, if people just…

One person I would like to help and make a difference with is Al Gore, who is an avid environmentalist who champions everything related to saving the environment, from protecting endangered species, to finding new alternative and renewable energy souces, to minimizing the use of damaging fossil fuels now. I agree with his ideas because as humans, we have the power to change the earth, and have already made some species of animals go entirely extinct. These are things we should be able to…

My favorite was number 6, "What you have matters more than what you lack (If you’ve got a bicycle, consider what you can build based on that, rather than worrying about not having a car, a truck, a metal shop.)" This is because it is incredibly realistic, and beneficial at the same time. If people are constantly working towards improving current things based on what they have to work with, small improvements will happen over time and acc**ulate to a big change. This is something many people…

This new corporation is called Savings Unlimited. It's purpose is to provide a bank and storage system moe secure than the typical capitalist bank, which invests in other companies without holding back. Those other banks,as seen in recent cases, throw away the money of their own investors too fast to pay back. This resulted in thousands of people losing money. This bank will risk less sudden growth in wealth through investing, but will mainly serve to hold the money of a massive amount of…

Since I have grown up and habitually raised with home-cooked meals everyday using fresh material, I will surely do the same in 2020. Microwaveable and canned foods are a big no. I will buy the foods from good brands, and only in large stores that get many good reviews or have a lot of customers. Also, I will check my purchases for labels that represent good nutrition and food safety, such as approvals from the FDA and whatnot. My parents sometimes go to oriental markets, where they have…

By 2020, women will have progressed a lot. Ever since gaining voting rights in 1920, they have continuously rebelled against the status quo and the cult of domesticity. This is continuing even now, women in other countries are doing what women back then did here. They will achieve voting rights, and in other places where women are restricted from the public without male accompaniment, things will change so women can go freely in public places without coverings or escort. Women will at least…

In ten years, I will have finished a four year degree in college, and most likely a Masters degree, and maybe even working on a Ph. D. I will probably be considering having a family as well, but that's common among most people, and other than that, it will be hard for me to be sure where I am. I do know that I will be doing what I can do benefit society, donating to charities and helping the less fortunate. I will also volunteer and help out at similar community services. Also, I could be doing…

On World Water Day, everyone should save water in any way they can, and set a goal limit for how much they use in one day. This includes shorter showers, and turning the faucet off every spare moment when one doesn't need it. That's a small thing everyone should do. Another thing people could do is to all donate perhaps a few water bottles to a charity, and all the gathered water would be shipped to other places in the world, and be used to last some time for the people who lack sanitation.…

Chinese New Year would be one for me to try, especially with China beginning to develop and prosper. Because it's custom to use lanterns, i wouldn't even have to consider using lightbulbs. Also, any other bright lights that would be needed would be wind powered, because during the transition from winter to spring, the wind really kicks up. I wouldn't need to use energy produced from coal or fossil fuels, which will help. If everyone who celebrates this holiday does something similar, then that…
