Act-3: Design a new way to power something you use everyday.

Everyday I always use my phone to communicate. However, Sometimes I always run out of a battery in a place where I can't charge. My Idea is that I'm going to put a small solar panel above my hat so it can receive sunlight and turn it into electricity. That way I can Charge my phone wherever I run out of battery in a place where I can't find any electricity. This is the drawing that I make based on the idea that I talked about. …

Imagine 3: Tell a creative story about how you're celebrating a special day in the year 2020.

Finally it's 17 of august this year. Every Year Indonesia people always celebrate this year because this is really important for me, my family and indonesian people. Usually my family always celebrate this event by cook lot of food and eat together with my relatives. The powered comes from the power plants. However I imagined my house being powered with eco-friendly energy so it's really good for not only us 'Human" but also the plants and the animals. For Example using solar panel. With…

Learn 3- Who else is inventing creative, sustainable ways to power our everyday lives?

After I search throughout the internet, I found Something amazing from Africa. Four girls Invented a urine Powered generator. The girls are Duro-Aina Adebola (14), Akindele Abiola (14), Faleke Oluwatoyin (14) and Bello Eniola (15). You May not believe it the first time you read this and say it's ridiculous, but let's not see it from the dirty sides but see it from the creative sides. I think that this idea is really creative because not only this idea is more cheap but it's also…

Learn-2: What's the biggest food security challenge near you?

In my country which is Indonesia, there's some issue that may bother the food security. For example, Pest. Pest in Indonesia is not really threatening the farmer but we still need to be careful of that animals. The second issue is flood. I think floods is really dangerous because flood can make the crops die from too much water. That's really bad because it can affect other people. So the solution is that people need to stop throwing trash to the river and the government must expand the size…

Act-2: Increase the food security of at least one person in your community.

So to increase food security starting a home garden I think it's a good idea because, when there's a disaster or something that can affect you can just eat something from your own garden. To start a home garden you don't really need a big area. the only thing you need is the seed that most likely will grow in your area. Maybe you could help other people by growing different crops so in the ends you can just share what you get and get a better quality and quantity.

Imagine 2: It's March 10, 2020. What are you eating for dinner?

In march 2020 I think I will eat less food because at that time some of the animal will extict and it will distract the food chain. So I think that, in that day I or maybe we as a human will eat through an infusion. The food will mix with water there. That day all of the water from the river, lake and sea, will be polluted so we can't drink from there anymore. Also I think that the infusion will be expensive since they need to be mixed with a special food and drink. So I think that not…

Learn 2- What's the biggest food security challenge near you?

Right now, I 'm living in Indonesia and I think that there's no security issue that will bother us. Maybe we can take into account like for example flood. flood in Indonesia more specifically in Jakarta is the biggest problem that can't be solve, because of that many crops have die. That problem will be worsened if rainy season comes. The water will get more and more until the river can't handle it anymore. I think that the government already have a solution regarding this problem. The…

Imagine- 1: Imagine your future self.

I've been thinking this past months, what will I become in ten, twenty or maybe thirty years from today, but since the objective ask me to imagine my ten years me and what would I become that time I would focus on that first. So basically, my dream is to become a person that my family can be proud of. In the other hand I also think that it would be a meaningless if only my family knows that I'm doing something good. I think that it will be better if I can also help other people from their…

Act- 1: Choose a hero to shadow:

For this task, I need to choose a "Hero" that had a contribution to do something helpful for other people. In this case after I search google for a while I finally found a hero that I think made a good contribution to the community that he helped. His name is Prigi Arisandi. His basic interest is in saving the Surabaya river.

Their job is to find out valuable information about the river, for example, how badly polluted is the river, what industries are polluting the river etc. Then he…

Learn-1: The Secret code of Innovation:

Innovator means that someone can make something useful to the community from limited and

reusable material.

After I read that sentence I think I’m going to try to act by following this word, “Creating

“transparent” technologies”. Transparent technologies means that, we make some technology

that not only useful and cheap for the community but also easily understand by the community.

For example I could make something like a cooker from their limited resources. This…

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
