If you've been to India, you can see that any conservation of traditional knowledge, any knowledge at all is very important there. There are dozens of social obstacles which normally hinder a natural flow of knowledge and thoughts.
A lot of
these reports come from Gujarat, and from the
agricultural sector there. On the one hand that is a bad thing, Gujarat is a comparably small state. On the other hand it is a good because agriculture plays an important role there and therefore affects a lot of people living in Gujarat - and Gujarat has a population in excess of 50 million.
Anyway in India is a lot to learn and a lot to teach. The reports from Gujarat are just the beginning.
