Scene 1
He enters into the restaurant. A dark man with a star of David with a crucifix inside. He has no hair on the top of his head. He has no markings on him at all that makes him standout. He sits at a table.
Waiter:What will it be?
Man: Water please.
Waiter: Tap or pure?
Man: Pure. I don't want to get lead poisoning.
A light skin woman walks in. At first glance she looks anglo in origin. Her red hair throws many off the trail that she is actually latino. She wears a pair of steel earrings and a stud nose peircing. She has a red stash around her waste which clashes with her jeans and blue tee-shirt.
Man: Lady S, I never thought you would look so...
Lady S: Stunning.
Man: I was going to say average.
Lady S: You know how to really talk to a girl.
Man: I do my best.
Lady S: You know why I am here.
Man: Yes. The project had to many cost. With few resources most of the plans WE came up with can not be implemented. Also most of the solutions that are being presented are not viable for long term social structures.
Lady S: We are facing a collapse on top of a collapse.
Man: It was said that evolution hates a hero.
Lady S: Don't remind me. So are you in. We need someone to reign in some of the ideas to make them effective.
Man: Your looking for someone to be the bad guy...
Lady S: No! We are looking for someone to be the voice of reason and reign in the unrealistic agents.
Man: Ok. I'm in on one condition.
Lady S: That is?
Man:I meet Alchemy and Citizen X in person face to face.
Lady S: I can't guarantee that.
Man: Well you know hot to get ahold of me.
Lady S: Logos...it doesn't have to go down like this.
Man/Logos: Well they told you a bit more then they were supposed to.
Lady S: How could I not figure out who you are. You're one of the handful of agents that spoke out against Alchemy's focus and applications. Community and philosophy over technology was your method. We need someone like you.
Logos stands up and puts 5 dollars on the table. He starts to walk away and turns to Lady S.
Man/Logos: Have a water on me. Tell Alchemy next time to come in person or not at all. Time and resources are running out. We know is funding him and Citzen X. And tell X she owes me one still.
Lady S: She?
Man/Logos: HA! Even you don't know. I wonder what else they are keeping their agents in the dark about.
Scene 2
Logos enters into small building in an urban setting. There is a web of wires and circuit boards. Logos pours a yellow concoction into a generator. Logos pulls the string to start up his generator. The loud reving tones down a mild hum. Logos flips switches and pushes a few buttons. The screen of a computer comes on running an old operating system that only few know about. The screen flickers and the image of the mask appears on the screen.
Alchemy: Hello Logos.
Logos: Shalom Alchemy. Still using that spooky mask graphic. We both know what the mask is used for.
Alchemy: Do you need to bring that up every time we speak.
Logos: Symbols don't slip past me.
Alchemy: True but that is not why I am here.
Logos: Your not here your talking to me sideways through an avatar instead of face to face like I requested.
Alchemy: Was Lady S not good enough of a negotiator and messenger.
Logos: If you caught me ten years ago she could have moved me to your cause real easily. But you knew my demands before I set the meeting.
Alchemy: Things never go how one wants them.
Logos: Like trying to fix problems with technology and only creating more waste.
Alchemy: We wanted to bring you on to help fix that problem and a few others. You seek to balance out what is there and play for a zero game. Most people play for the epic win. Thing is that with a zero sum game there still is injustice...
Logos: So we are supposed to come in like saviors and tell people how to live and act and force things on them right. We are bring others into this colapseing technological system. Someone has to work the land.
Alchemy: For that work should they be denied a technological better way of life!
Logos: That is where your pride kicks in Alchemy. YOU...You think that if one has better technology then their life is better.
Alchemy: Where is our middle ground going to be at?
Logos: Tell your new agents that Logos is here as a living resource. If you can prove you can use technology without increasing waste then I will forefit my demands. But if in the end I find that, in spite of your good intentions, you are part of the problem. I will come for you Alchemy.
Alchemy: I didn't think you would be an advocate of Black on Black crime.
Logos pushes the power button letting Alchemy getting the last word.
