The person or group that I have decided to focus on for this mission is Cynthia Koeing who is involverdn with 'Water Roller' and 'Hippo Water Roller'. I think that this is an amazing idea because it is helping many people by reducing the weight of water. Instead of carrying massive amounts of water on their heads or shoulders which can result in back problems they can now 'roll' the water. The product’s innovative design makes it possible to collect 24 gallons of water, five times the amount possible using traditional methods, in less time, and much more easily. By giving people easier access to clean water, the Water Roller frees up valuable time which they can use to do other things such as schooling. Hippo Water International aims to improve global access to water and reduce the physical and time burdens of water collection by manufacturing and distributing the Water Roller. Therefore with both of these methods being used water access and collection will be made much easier. The thing that I have done in order to connect and help this organisation is to send an email to Cynthia asking where abouts in Africa this is taking place and if there are any places near me if I can be of any assistance to the efforts. I have also tried to spread the word to people in Zimbabwe to see if they have heard of this project and if not I am trying to find ways to bring it to the people there who need it the most.
