So, this is not a complete mission yet for me, but I am working on it.
Damian and I are making a mobile garden. We have seeds and soil and a long pot (sort of like a giant flowerbox), we are researching when to plant and what and when the last frost date is for the area (mid-may) and enjoying the awesome amount of knowledge available on EVOKE.
This mission has been interesting. I miss my mother's garden, and I love naming wildflowers as they come up, but I have never tried to garden before on my own. So I am excited to start. I also feel like it isn't much. But hopefully I will have a few sugar snap peas, and some lettuce, and a few tomatoes (I'll probably start two from plants).
Anyway, that's the plan. Part of me wants to be more ambitious, I have an impulse to shoot for more. But I would rather have this work and be sustainable than lose momentum.
