I think all of the videos have good intentions, but I can't say I can pick any of them as a favorite because I don't think any of them addresses the root of the problem. The metaphor that I would use is that someone has had their arm cut off and we are offering them a bandaid. The root of the problem, I believe, is that their water that used to be clean has been polluted by industrial runoff and mining or has been dammed and rerouted to supply a different area. The profits of the industries are priority over environmental and community preservation. The deaths of children, the lack of education of young girls is collateral damage of multi-billion dollar industries. Instead of addressing ways to live with the problem, what I would like to see is someone calling on corporate heads and politicians to stop the insanity of death and pollution for profit. Again, I have to reference the Venus Project, which shows how going from a monetary based economy to a resource based economy will allow us to value our natural resources and change our behavior towards the environment and each other.
