Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

These are my answers to Agent Baird's questions. I recommend you see his 4th video blog HERE and join the discussion about obesity HERE.Thank you!

1)How did you hear about the EVOKE network, and what made you decide to join?

I found the news in a website called The Gaminator. This is a game blog that exchanged banners with my website a month ago. We often do content exchange too so I was searching for something new to add to my website when I saw the EVOKE article and totally got hooked. It's a pity no one from their team joined the Network :(

2)Name one person on here you got to know or would like to get to know?

Why should I name just one? :) I met wonderful intelligent people here. For now, three are closest to my heart - Jake Baird, Raymond Kristiansen and John Tsangaris. Would love to work together with you guys! Would love to see you live, too.

3)What is the worst crisis to you in the world currently that requires Evoke's attention?

I think evokers should first try to solve local problems. In Bulgaria corruption is a big problem. Money means power and I'd like to change that. Also, our politicians steal from the people instead of working on its development. A new successful control mechanism should be made so we stop that at last! People lost their faith in the future. We shouldn't let this happen to the new generation.

4)What is your background? Where were you raised, city or farm?

I was born here, in Sofia - the capital of Bulgaria. I spent the first 12 years of my life with my grandparents in a wonderful town called Kyustendil, 100 km to the west from Sofia. As a child I had asthma and the air in Kyustendil was way cleaner than this in the capital. I came back to Sofia when I was in 6th grade at school - approximately 8 years ago. Since then I'm living with my parents.

When I grew up the asthma was gone but I discovered problems with my thyroid gland. It was my initiative finding the reasons I'm gaining weight. Doctors refused to concentrate on my weight problem. "You are not fat. You are so cute", they kept telling me when I was a child. They were concentrated on the asthma and my weak immune system. Too bad in their attempts to strengthen my immune system they used medicaments that screwed my thyroid gland. I was training actively, not eating a lot, etc, but still gaining weight. So I took my life in my own hands, found specialists, consulted with them, made examinations and so on.

OK, enough history! What do I do now, being 21 years old? I almost normalized the gland's function by medication, sports, food and a new way of life. I'm a student in the University of National and World Economics in Sofia, Media Department. I am a journalist writing articles for a few magazines and websites and also a keen professional gamer, national manager of the Warcraft III and Pro Evolution Soccer teams of Bulgaria. I'm part of the managing board of Electronic Sports Club "MD Games". We organize events, support players, develop e-sports in Bulgaria. Each day my life is getting more and more interesting.

5)Find a quote that inspires you that might inspire others.

"Everyone can be inspired but only some people can be inspirational." - read it here in EVOKE
"Winning is a state of mind" - Robert Kiyosaki
"The second-placer is the first of all losers" - read it in a random gamer profile

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
