A crash course in changing the world.
I havent been home for quite a while as my job has been keeping me busy in the last months. Therefore I was really lookin forward to going to my parents place this weekend. Back in the days when I was a student we often had BBQ together in my parents` big garden. As the weather is really nice this weekend (probably a bit too hot but we are getting used to it since the average temperatures in August have been rising since years) my parents have prepared a surprise welcome-party for me - including BBQ! But BBQ in 2020 isnt what it used to be back in the old days. Nowadays there is no charcoal on the grill anymore, instead people are using compressed peat which stays warm for way longer then coal. Instead of the torches we used to have to illuminate the grilling place, we are using solar powered lights now. Years ago my parents installed an outdoor refrigerator next to the BBQ area which is powered by a small wind turbine installed above the grill and powered by the hot air flow from the grill.
