A crash course in changing the world.

Clothing: An untapped resource of sustainability!

So for my design what I wanted to do was utilise a similar concept to: http://www.soccket.com/ referring to Miss Jessica.

Taking Kinetic energy, possible frictional, static and perhaps even thermal, pressure and gravitation if the technology exists. To work these into multi-complex battery charger.

For the purpose of making this believable the battery in question could be an IPhone:

The interchangeable batteries could be installed into a Heel of a Shoe. Ideally one that has also been custom sized for the individual to make sure they have great foot health for the remainder of their life, thus keeping them mobile and this principle working better. Iphones are almost at the stage of being a mobile laptop. This is great they are for people on the go, which is ... Everyone these days! So whilst simultaneously encouraging an active and healthy lifestyle, benefiting health in general, we are thus able to prolong these effects even when technology is still in need of power without infringement on our personal being i.e. a small solar shield on a bag or hand held device that is separate and has to be carried around either in said bag, or in a pocket which could be really annoying for example one is out hiking in the Scotland Highlands for arguments sake.

As the individual walks, runs or jogs - the energy transmutation takes place in ideally a range of methods as described earlier. The installation would be limited at first to select shoes, but as technology improves the would hopefully become a standard in all footwear, allow other uses e.g. universal battery for the home to bring home the bacon and some free energy, all in a days work! Heck even the kids can chip in! Better still if lost in the middle of no-where with a dead batter a quick exchange in the Iphone battery in this particular example and boom! Back to power on and hopefully full signal to phone for help or perhaps just a pizza!

The aim would be to not only design this fit all shoes (Except high heels *sigh* and pumps) but also subtly hide within so that nothing is noticed, the actual person is insulated from electrical shocks and it is capable of easier repair e.g. simply unplug the wh*** unit out.

In this hiking boot for example the heel has ample space and part of the cushioning provide by the current materials could for example convert pressure on the heel by perhaps powering an small internal dynamo or electronic gel that rubs against a surface to generate heat and static which is then converted immediately into electricity. The biggest issue would be water proofing the shoes in order to protect the equipment and the individuals, but heck I'm sure some scientist could enhance other clothing to match this concept or better still combine multiple threads and enhance human generated electrify proportionately to their output.

Imagine having a matching set with these gloves:

http://www.crunchwear.com/cool-shirt-refrigerated-shirt/

http://www.crunchwear.com/intelligent-textile-pants-for-the-elderly/

The eventual aim of this humble technology would be one of these for every person to use for their day to day living, you know shopping hiking, etc ...

Conversely the flying may actually reduce health buy lack of actually walking, but man how much fun could you have! ^_^

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

The meal

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
