As Thailand has coastline for more than 2,600 km. mainly
in the southern region, the coastal resource, included mangrove forest,
fishery resource and etc., are considered to be the important renewable
natural resource of Thailand. The deterioration of coastal resources in
Thailand during the past 30 years of development effects both
social-economic as well as political condition of local area and the
country at the same time. The coastal resource management with local
participation is a new management approach that economic planners,
presently, hope to be an appropriate approach to improve the coastal
resource situation in Thailand. As i am from Thailand i found this article particularly interesting. We need to preserve Thailands nature, it has a big impact to the countries economy
