Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

There is a reason I love living in a big urban environment. Urban environments [apartments] create more space because they stack homes on top of each other. Apartment complexes equal beauty to me. They cost less to heat, and are much more affordable. Imagine a city without suburbs, in place of the suburbs we place parks, and natural agriculture. Apartments allow us to share. We share our homes and can grow closer to our neighbors.

Apartments = Community = Happiness

We as a society are built upon community/friendship. What we have begun to do is move from the cities we live in, and we have moved into the suburbs. Generally in the suburbs, we tend to forget about our neighbors, we lose community. When we lose that friendship, we lose Happiness. One way we can encourage tighter, happier communities, is to encourage block parties. I believe that block parties bring happiness, and strengthen neighborhoods.

Apartments = Community = Culture

Apartments bring us Culture. Apartments are a mosaic of people living together. You could have neighbors from other countries. Each person has a different story, and apartments encourage all of us to tell our own story. We can share our culture with one another. Our neighbors learn about us, and we can learn about our neighbors.

Lets get back to apartment style living, to rich communities that offer culture, happiness, and friends.

+1KS. I was an army brat growing up and I knew all my fellow brats in all the different military camps we lived in. Then I moved on to university were I lived on campus and knew everyone in my dorm. Then came apartment living in a 9 storey block. I did not know any of my neighbours in my 3 year there. I now live in suburbia where I know all of my neighbours. Nnt sure the whys of this - need to think more about it.

Ya I currently live in a dorm, and I know just about everybody on every floor, maybe it's because I go meet people and talk with them. I wish everybody got a chance to meet their neighbors, it's a great experience.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
