It is the 4th of July and the sun is at a sweltering station in the sky as I await my food from the sizzling grill. But, I'm not hot at all. I'm wearing a robe that is generating energy from my body heat. Just as photovoltaic cells capture free electrons from light, the cells in my robe are diligently collecting free electrons from the infared "light" heat from my body. As the heat dissipates in the form of stored, electric energy, I feel quite cool as a natural byproduct! Later, I'll unplug the storage capacitor and plug it into an electric bank. Since I'm celebrating this 4th of July at my friend's house, I'll plug it into her home's bank so that she has a surplus to use or sell. I've got plenty of electricity stored over at my home since we don't have air conditioning!
