Crisis handling with Ushahidi in Nuremberg/Germany
Also here in Germany it is possible that a crisis happens. This could be a flood caused by heavy rainfalls as we had in the past, or through a nuclear incident caused through an explosion in an atomic power plant. We had a similar accident in 1986 when in the city of Tschernobyl in the Czech Republic an atomic reactor exploded. Tschernobyl is not so far away from Nuremberg, and it was dangerous to play in the sand because nuclear clouds were blown from the czech republic to germany. In the case a similar incident happens again, I propose the use of Ushahidi and the equipping of every village or city with contamination meters. Every place where contamination would be measured could be indicated with Ushahidi. People could indicate the place and the heaviness of the nuclear contamination measured. Another possible use of Ushahidi would be in case of fire caused through heavy dry periods in the summer. Fortunately we didn't have these cases yet, but you never know what will happen caused through global warming. This is my proposal for the use of Ushahidi in a critical situation.

The meal
It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal.
