Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

The main problem of what blocks woman to access economy is knowledge. My group and I decided to donate school supplies such as knowledge books, notebooks, pencils, erasers etc to children in villagers through community and service (CAS) in my school. We believe that if we help them, they can have knowledge that is useful for future. Because the knowledge books that we donate are physic, biology, math etc. The CAS is called “The Invisible Children of Indonesia”.

What is the goal of The Invisible Children of Indonesia?

“Our aim is to help street children. We are trying to work with an organization who helps street children and we want to work and learn from them to support children as they go through the transition of moving from the free street life to a more controlled, and structured life, which is known to be a very hard transition. This is why we would like to help this children, to improve their lives and give them even more opportunities and a purpose to live by. However, we do not just focus on street children. "Invisible Children" applies to all children that we know exist, but do not actually notice. Orphans for example, we learn about them, we hear about them, but we do not actually notice them, do we, and this is also our goal. So we focus on street children as our main goal, but we try to help all invisible children as much as we can.” - The Invisible Children of Indonesia team.

we gave them school supplies and knowledge books which means they can study and achieve knowledge and learn new things that they don't know yet. By giving them this donation, they can use the knowledge that are in the books in the future or share it with other children. This action provide them for having certificate in the future where they can get job and it can be inspiration for them.

con:
There are 38 students in the village , My group and I gave 40 notebooks, 40 pencils, 40 erasers, 40 sharpeners. Which means that they only get 1 book/ children. This cons can affect them because once the book is full of words or drawings, they don’t have any other books where they can write something on.

The solution of the disadvantage is

I still don't find the solution of this con because book is the only goods that we can write something on. Rather than book, we can use computer to write something on, however, it's too expensive for them.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
