Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

This is an idea post in response to Can YOU Help Defeat the Dragon?

SUMMARY: A new area in EVOKE for emerging EVOKATIONS to be posted with the aim of getting comments and builds from the community, and especially anyone with relevant LOCAL INSIGHT.

DETAILS: A fourth ‘EVIDENCE’ stream could be created specifically to facilitate the nurturing of early EVOKATIONS and to provide a focal point for anyone joining who may have local insight. The area would be ‘positive builds and comments only’ so as not to kill off any vulnerable ideas (hence the greenhouse – think seedlings poking through the soil). Any parallel efforts to improve engagement with people close to the problems EVOKE is targetting could then direct these people to this area rather than them having to sift through full blog list.

This would also allow for iterations and prototyping of EVOKATIONS by exposing them, in a safe environment, to the input of the wider network, with the aim of re-looping and developing ideas rapidly.
Any ideas posted in this area would be encouraged to start addressing the four sections which ALCHEMY has already highlighted for inclusion in a final EVOKATION submission, namely The Place, The Idea, The Challenge, The Money. This would serve to focus any local insight efforts – once a place has been set, the insight really needs to be coming from there, or from someone with strong knowledge of local issues and limitations.

I like your idea Alex. You may have seen the email I sent round to my network yesterday about my post offering to help folks develop their ideas for EVOKATIONS. This would fit quite nicely

Good idea- it would make the 'raid content' of Evoke just a bit easier for people to join up with.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
