A crash course in changing the world.
I support "Trinkwasser für Afrika" (Trinkwasser für Afrika). Countries of the project are Kenya and Ivory Coast. The project started in 2009 and collect donations in germany to build water filtration systems. Since 2009 were built six water filtration systems in Kenya and save the supply for 3.500 people. In addition local people were trained at the same time to maintenance the installation. At the Ivory Coast In year 2011 were taken wells into operation. Before the new wells were installed, people had to walk eight miles for clean water. Total more than 10.000 people benefit from the project and many will it in future. It is important to build new wells, because in the ground of africa are huge groundwater reserves. Take a look on the article Grundwasserreserven
