A crash course in changing the world.
I might have found a new source of energy that can power up my cooker and heat my
home:
It turns out that due to global warming, decomposition at the bottom of the sea is
accelerating and tons of methane gas are being generated & released to the
atmosphere. As part of the process, methane gets trapped as bubbles under the
ice crust in the Artic sea.
Here you have an example in these videos:

As we all know, methane is a greenhouse gas 25 fold more powerful than carbon dioxide.

The idea that I herein propose is that we could use this noxious gas for a good purpose if we could engineer a way to recover & compress the gas trapped in ice bubbles in order to use it as an energy source, for household or any other purposes.
This way we would be burning CH4 to CO2 which is less prejudicial, reducing the potential
threat. This, from some perspective could be seen as a “green” energy. I know
it is not sustainable as it contributes to climate change, but would be just as contaminating as current fossil fuels.
Any comments welcome!
