Empowering a girl/women through education

In last week i visited the daycare center in my area and asked the supervisor there if there was anything that the kids needed, especially the girls who still attended school. He explained to me that they do have many sponsors but anything that anyone can help with is always appreciated. So i got together with my family and discussed what i wanted to do and they glady agreed to help in any way. All the girls attended the same school so i decided to help them buy stationery and books etc that they needed. i knew that they all used the same things and that it wasn't expensive so i aided ten girls. they were very happy and excited about it even though we knew that it wouldn't last forever, we gave them. i also had a few sport equipment at home that i wasn't using so i gave them my hockey stick, soccer ball, and two tennis raquets. i could already see the improvements

The very act of asking, listening, and responding to what these girls would like to see in their immediate futures is a very powerful one. Thanks for sharing with these girls and thank you for sharing this with the network!

Inspiring – how your spark let many people show they care. Just what ACT is all about!
