A crash course in changing the world.
In sub - Sahara Africa, more than 550 million people that live less than $2 a day. Each day is a struggle because it does not earn enough for their daily needs. Women have to take their own opportunities and, as well know it takes money to make money. In 1991 a group called "CARE" developed a way harness in a village in Southern Niger. In 2011, CARE have helped more than 7 million people to improve their household income. Woman do two third of the work but only get 10 % of the income. Education is also important for children especially girls, if they don't have education they can't read, or write. About 900 million adult worldwide can't read or write, 2/3 are woman. How ever 61 million children around the world dropped out from school, and the majority of these young people are girls. Education is more than just reading and writing, it teaches people how to get a long with other people (communicating with others). Goal number #3 of the UN Millenium Development goals is "Gender Equality" it is very important because all people have human rights,
