Energy Save Masters - Next Generation Heros
I did not find one hero, but a wh*** community or rather an idea competition of German schools. The competition is named “Energiesparmeister” (=energy save masters). Content of this open competition is to think about saving energy, climate protection and starting projects with solutions for these problems. The competition is directed to school cla****. They show how to reach goals with ingenuity and commitment. Furthermore they want to motivate other people to start own projects.
One of the participating schools for example is the Wilhelm-Raabe-School from Lüneburg, Germany. They started a project to replace kerosene lamps with solar lamps in Tanzania. For this purpose the project team travelled in the Tanzanian schools and provides workshops. In these workshops the pupils assembled the lamps, which are sold later to parents and peers in Tanzania. With the proceeds the Tanzanian schools finance new schoolbooks.

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal.
