A crash course in changing the world.
I have 2 :
Share knowledge and skills to continue the innovative process both to and from people and communities.
Peripheral vision; keep a look out for other challenges or new solutions all the time.
I choose these 2 because they are interlinked. I share my knowledge but always hope people will share theirs.
I'm always on the lookout to improve my way of living with new ideas and means to reuse or improve how I do things. I like ingenius objects that helps us become more self-sufficient. It's the little secrets I like the most. They openned doors for me I wouldn't have envisionned before. I learned how to dehydrate the herbs of my garden to have them all winter, I learned how to make hand cream from how-to books. I learned what kind of flowers are edible and how I can prepare them to make delicious appetizers. I learned how to make compost for the garden et use the old pavement bricks to make a new raised bed for flowers. I learned how to make wipes for my baby's bum instead of using the throwable, alcohol-soaked ones.
And I'm always, always on the lookout for new ways to be more self-sufficient. What about you? Is there something simple in your everyday life that you do, without thinking about it and that you could teach me?
