The one hundred years of my life are not here with me today, but in my mind, they live on. I remember watching the world seem to set on fire in Texas as the Mars mission took off. Sitting on the shaking silver bleachers, wondering why I was not up there in the rocket. I remember the way Earth was, although not as well as I would like to. I remember the chirping of birds and waking up on a spring morning, the voices of my parents, calling me in for dinner and hearing their words through letters when I was in South Africa, but most importantly, I remember when I learned what life was about and who I was. Though my skin is now covered in wrinkles and I did not make copies of my genetic code, I hope that I still live on in your hearts when my life comes to pass. I have lived in nearly three different centuries, but there is nothing more accomplishing to me than discovering what you are made to do. you may not believe in a higher power, but you have to believe in yourself. What you are capable of. I am from a time of crisis. When the world's problems couldn't be solved in the blink of an eye. Many would say that I should not miss these times. That crises are not good for the soul, but I will tell you this. I lived to solve them and still do. Be thankful for everything you have, even age. Even the things that seem bad. They will teach you who you are, what life means, and what this universe is about. I hope that your journeys of discovery lead you on many different paths and that, in the end, you know what you are made of and to stop at nothing. Your lives are the most valuable things you can own.
