When I looked at this, I thought, what do I have that can already produce power? Of course, the first thing I thought of was my exercize bike, but this is overused, and really, would only power something if I was exercizing.
Then I heard the constant sound of water trickling into one of my fish tanks, so constant that I don't hear it anymore. I imagine that once could use this to provide small amounts of power, like that to charge a phone. Its better than the bike, because it is always on. What would be best is to get the falling water to spin a rotor, which powers a battery. From this battery, you should be able to obtain power. If a system can be designed waterproof, then this would be a very good power source. Firstly because it goes on all day (unlike a bike) and so it could produce enough power to do something like charge a phone in a day no matter how weakly it is turning. Secondly it regains energy that was used for something else, after all, something is making that water flow!
